Prefers a cleaner underbelly without the red spots. Misses the prominent gold on the wings. Stuck it back on the tailfeathers.
Left a poor impression in the first playthrough of X/Y. Learns Peck at 10. Waits until 39 for Flame Charge (50 power) and 44 Acrobatics (55 power with an item). Chooses between that and Flare Blitz + Brave Bird from the Move Relearner (provided you know). Seemed awfully risky with base 81 Attack (and maybe a -Attack nature?) and unremarkable defenses.
Warmed up to it slightly as a breeder companion. Combined Flame Body (for faster hatching) and Fly into one Pokemon. Judged newly hatched Pokemon with minimal delay. Kept it in Alola to oversee all egg hatching, despite no longer needing Fly.
