The one thing I have yet to hear anyone talk about is its cry. I think dwebble's cry is cute. Other than that it is just the Paras of Gen 5.

Good enough for me then. Shell smash is a powerful move. It learns it a level 37, just 3 levels after the evolution at level 34. It's best to not evolve it otherwise you'd have to wait at level 43 to learn shell smash.

Dwebble is more similar to Krabby than to Paras, if you ask me. Dwebble and Krabby have decent Defense, while Paras doesn't.

I assumed dwebble is based off paras because its evolution has a rocky shell gets so big, like it takes over the pokemon. Similar to how Parasect's mushroom gets too big like it has possessed the pokemon. That and both have bug as a dual type. Also I'm surprised no one has mentioned that dwebble is actually a good candadite for using the eviolite. Until it evolves it would be great using that as an item.

Crustle's shield pokedex entry states that it is strong enough to crack Rhyperior's carapace. That is quite terrifying to think about because Rhyperior's carapace can withstand volcanic eruptions. The sheer power this thing has is no laughing matter.
