Kind of a pity upvote. Dislikes the face. Likes seeing it around, regardless, because of how forgotten it seems. Would be interesting (and dangerous) to own a fire turtle, though.

It is a bit pity at this point. The giant spiky shell is a cool part of Turtonator, as well as its name sounding similar to terminator.

I like to think that the translators couldn't think of a pun or something with the word pika so they left the name as is. It does make it stand out though.
Edit: The name Togedemaru is kept the same throughout all versions it seems. Rather odd. Maybe it is difficult to translate.

That is both funny and sad. Especially when Togedemaru is faster than Luxray. Another move Togedemaru has is spikey shield. Imagine running rocky helm with iron barbs and using spikey shield. That is some major chip damage. And it has electric terrain too.
