Now that I think about it, I keep hearing that summer at the gulf coast can get really, really sticky due to the freaking humidty. Man, I can handle 120+ degree weather back in Cali, but who knows how long I can withstand the summer heat here.

I can always hit the beach anyways!

We all should throw a beach party sometime.

I haven't swimming at the beach in years, because I always found changing out after you finish to be a big hassle. The public toilets were just so confined ugh.

I have never been to a beach in my life.

But then again this isn't surprising because I live in Kentucky and I've only even been to one other state. So... Yeah.

Australia is a literal island that's surrounded by so much water, that's why our beaches are always flocking over the hot months. The hot climate means we love our aquatic activities.

Y'know, speaking of beaches, one of my most memorable moments when I was younger is strolling around the beach, and just checking out the shops that were there. I mean, they weren't anything too special, but it's still interesting to see what they have/offer, nontheless.

This is still one of my favorite things to do haha. I love going to the little gift shops such as Alvin's Island etc and buying all the little beach novelties x]

You should try to get out more. There's a lot of stuff to do out there. You could go to Holiday World in Indiana, Kings Island in Ohio and then there's a plethora of things to do in Tennessee. And most of those places are only a few hours drive so you could be there and back home all in one day. Fun stuff.

Tomorrow I'm making it a thing to go to Universal theme parks. n_n Should be exciting stuff.

Though to be honest, I'm not looking forward to the overpriced theme park food and drinks. You know shit is insane when you have to pay $4 for a Gatorade.

That's honestly one of the main reasons Holiday World is my favorite theme park. The tickets aren't as expensive as most, but there's just as much if not more stuff to do around the park as there are others. And all drinks are free so you don't spend $15 or $20 dollars every 4 or 5 hours when you get thirsty.

Yes, there's a world out there that I don't get to enjoy because my family is so poor. So we don't get to travel much because of that and a number of other things actually.

I have been to Tennessee a lot though.

Tennessee is one of the few southern states I haven't been to much. Went there as a kid but not since! Going to vacation there this winter with my family. Should be fun :3

Went to Worlds of Fun when I was in Kansas City, I bought a pizza combo that cost $15. The pizza slice wasn't even that big enough, and I got a small drink. Most overpriced meal I ever bought.

edit: OH GEEZ I FORGOT THERE WAS ANOTHER PAGE.

Wait Oaka where exactly in Florida do you visit? :o

Somewhere outside of the big cities in the resort areas. Really just wherever our timeshares take us. Last year when I went with my mom we were able to get something a little further towards the keys and then ended up making a trip out of that and only visited Sea World and Universal. Then when I went with my dad last year we got something that was beachfront I think.

Most of the time we go for 9 or 10 days and take a couple for relaxing and then we spend a day at several different parks.

I would totally go to Nashville, Tennessee. It's the capital of country music, after all!

There's this one place at SeaWorld called Terrace Garden Buffet, and (I'm not sure if they changed their prices but back when I was working there) it was like $15-16 and you can eat all of the pizza you want and drinks are included for free.

dude, that is totally heaven for me omfg. for $15 bucks I think that is so worth it.

I would go back to Kansas City for the bbq. Only for that. I tried out a sandwich called the "Z-Man" which is basically a brisket sandwich filled with cheese and onion rings, and o. m. f. g. best sandwich i have ever tasted.

Hey Derky, does Sea World in Florida has a "Dine with Shamu" thing? My older sister went with her kids a few weeks ago in San Diego and it was amazing.
