i never do much on my birthday like i hate getting attention for it :/ i'll be going to an nz equivalent of comiccon that weekend tho bc it's always around that time

for my birthday, for the past 2 years or so or maybe 3? idk, but i've been going to the mall with my mom and spend my birthday money and then usually have a nice dinner out at a restaurant with my family. i had birthday parties but no one really came. but this year i'm gonna invite mostly family bc i have no friends where i live right now

My birthdays now consist of my family texting my hbday with a reminder that a check is in the mail.

I make sure to have a day off work on my birthday, mainly because all through school/university, nine times out of ten I had an exam of some sort. But NO MORE! So now I associate them with rest, relaxation, and a nice meal out with friends.
