... or is it? Do you have a limit to how many roleplays you'd join at one given time?

In addition, how many RPs are you in currently? How many do you usually participate in concurrently?

I have been known to GM/participate in an obscene number of RPs. GM'd 6 at one point and the most I've participated in was probably in the 10-12 range. This being said I do have limits. It's less a set number though and more to do with my ability and available time at any given moment. Right now for example I'm GMing 3 RPs and in a few more but because I'm sick so often I'm not joining or making anymore for a while.

I used to give myself a limit of only roleplaying in a maximum of three at a time. Any more and I would get too busy. That being said, I pretty much always break that rule. I think I am in about six roleplays at the moment, but half are dead or dying, and the rest are pretty easy in terms of what I have to do for writing.

When it comes to being a GM, I never really wan't to GM more than one at a time. Keeping track of so many elements at once is not really easy, and I'm envious of those who can juggle that much.

3 is my limit as a player. If I'm GMing... then yea I am probably a player in that RP too. Only GM one RP at a time, I've tried more but ugh.

I make it a point to join any RP's that look fun, regardless of how many I'm in at the time. I haven't GM'd any before, so that doesn't affect me, but I'm usually in anywhere between three and six RP's at a time. Right now I'm in ten games, but only a few are very busy, and a couple are dying or haven't gotten off the ground yet.

Three active roleplays at a time. I have loads of free time, but my creative energy operates best when it is focused at limited sources. (Mostly I am busy with my own story, focusing a lot of energy designing that, and creating content for the roleplay it will eventually become) Don't like being redundant, and I'll only join RPs that have distinct, unique concepts from each other as well.

If a roleplay becomes less active, then this rule can be lifted.
