Updated through post #2364.

A moment of your time, please. The update process is rather stressful at time, and I would like to point out the most irritating things I encounter while doing so.

1. People who don't post a sign up and just start posting updates. This is not too common, but it happens and I really don't like it because it often comes with the next point.

2. People who don't include the game they are playing in their post. Sometimes this isn't so bad, but I leave the Game open when I put people who sign up for Ultimate challenges on the list, so if you don't put what challeng you are playing at the time, I have to look back at that post to figure it out (unless the person did not sign up in which case it gives me a headache).

3. People who don't put their badge count or gyms beaten in an easy place to find. This usually is the case with posts that are just a long paragraph with no real structure to them.

Now, none of this breaks the rules, so don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to enforce anything. I just want you guys to think about your updates and how they come off to me when I have to go through all of them. I try to leave a good example of an effective update post for any new people who don't know what they should do, but even that is not required. Please, running this thread takes a lot of work, and anything you guys can do to streamline that for me would be greatly appreciated.

One more thing, I like to check in every day when I can, but it's easy to miss questions if they're in the middle of a post. If you want to ask a question about your challenge, put it at the beginning or end, or even highlight it in some way so it's noticeable. I'd hate for anyone to feel like they're being ignored.

New update! Yay!

Haven't updated in a while. I started playing Platinum but my progress has been slow due to a lot of distractions. But I have made progress so here's my first update for my Platinum Ground mono.

Started with Turtwig (Twigster). Pretty much went solo with him for a while and beat Roark. Twigster evolved into Grotle. Caught a Shellos (Gastro) and a Burmy (Cloaky) shortly after. Defeated Team Galactic at both Valley Windworks and at their base in Eterna City. Trained Cloaky up in Mt. Coronet to get her evolved into Wormadam with sub ground type. Defeated Gardenia very easily with Wormadam. Went through Route 206 and caught Gligar and caught Gible in Wayward Cave.

La la la la. Oh, what? Oh right.
Finished the Water monotype on my LG. It went a lot faster now that school's started up (yes, shush). I had more trouble getting through Victory Road than through the E4. Still had to consume a good deal of drugs though. Heh, heh. I wonder what's running through their heads right now. As soon as I caught Starmie, I ditched Blastoise because well, ugh. I'm not much a fan of him until gen 4. Gen 3 Blastoise, bleh.

Water Type Ultimate Challenge - Kanto Complete!

So yeah, I've been playing Blue the past few weeks and I've completed the Kanto part of the challenge.
-I didn't waste time doing anything else besides going straight from Gym Leader to Gym Leader defeating them. I'm not going to post every single event that happened to me, because nothing out of an ordinary playthrough occurred. The only mildly interesting thing that happened was that I defeated the Elite Four and Blue on my first try. Anyway, here's my final Kanto team.

Hooray, I guess. That was an easy run. Now on to Johto! :)

Spoiler:

So here's my team:
Spoiler:

Water Type Ultimate Challenge - Johto Complete!

So I've been playing Silver on an emulator all day and I've completed Silver.
-The Elite Four weren't terribly difficult because Feraligatr was pretty overleveled.
-Kanto was pathetic
-Red wasn't as hard as I remember. The first time I fought him I got destroyed almost immediately, but the second time was probably the luckiest battle I've ever had. My Pokemon were getting CHs like every other turn and Red's Pokemon were missing a lot. Anyway, here's my final Johto team.

Spoiler:

Now to play through Sapphire.

I would like to change my fire ultimate to just a single in Fire Red. And also, I am going to be combing it with a solo challenge, so Im just going to be using my charmander along with HM slaves.

Update 2:
-finally beat Misty
-went through the underground path
-beat Lt. Surge
-got through the rock tunnel
-am currently at the pokemon tower

Team:
Charizard lvl. 41
Moves: Flamethrower, Metal Claw, Wing Attack, Mega Punch

HM Slave lvl. 10
Moves: Cut, Bite, Growl, Scratch

Random SoulSilver Fire Update #2

In Goldenrod City I took my first loss from Whitney's Wartortle, that kept using Withdraw just to finish off my team with Water Gun while taking no damage...
After I beat her on second try I found a Magby in the National Park to add a fourth member to my hot team. I spent some time to train it up to Level 25 and closed the level gap in my team.

Spoiler:

Instead of Sudowoodo I pissed of a Nidorina with my SquirtBottle (what a pervert name!). In Ecruteak City I fought my rival again who had a freaking RAIKOU! But it wasn't as strong as I feared. Afterwards I got the HM03 and defeated Morty and his harem of grandmas.

Spoiler:

Because it's not easy to find a Fire-type Pokemon that can use Surf, I got a Huntail on my way to Olivine City. With my newly caught slave I travelled to Cianwood City to kick Chuck's butt. Instead of Poliwrath he had a Blissey which quickly fell victim to my Infernape's Mach Punch and gave a lot of XP.

Spoiler:

And this is my team after the fifth badge:
