CGI was right for the time. I watched the prequels and the originals around the same time (grew up with both of them), and I can only say that I hate Han Solo who sticks out like a sore thumb. I hope in Ep 7 I can finally see him dead. I hate him more than Jar-Jar.

Tbh you're the first person I've seen say anything bad about it. Most fans are happy it made them love the series again after the prequels tainted it

Well, that crap. Watched it, and it was one of the worst movies I ever watched, with a stupid plot, bad acting, and other things which make it one of the worst Star Wars movies.
But of course Orginal fanboys will lap this movie up.

It's got 95% on Rotten Tomatos ): can't be that bad.

Rotton tomatoes is unreliable. Revenge of the Sith is a great movie, but if you talk to a arrogant original fan (which there are loads of) they say it is crap.
But yes the force Awakens had a really weak plot.

At least if people enjoy it for nostalgia then its all good :) I don't think this movie was really intending to bring new people into the franchise, but give the fans a long-awaited follow up :D.
