So I finished the Death Note manga and...wow.

It was such a good read, and I feel like there's a lot of potential in a Mafia game with the plot. I will definitely try my best to make it a good Mafia.

I think I'm going to start a roleplay/mafia game over summer. Just need some ideas on how to manage it well.

I had an idea for a mafiamafia game as well, but there are so many planned and the list is so long I'm not sure if its a good idea to throw it on the list o_O.

I didn't read the manga, but I watched the Death Note anime and really enjoyed the plot twists and trying to stay 5 steps ahead of everyone else. I know the anime is much shorter than the manga so there's probably some plot points I'm unaware of, but I'd still enjoy playing that.

To be honest, I still haven't fully decided what each faction should represent in the plot or will be called. The most I've decided on about it is that the leader of the Mafia will be Kira, and the Detective will likely be L.

I'm having ideas for maybe SPK/some other agency vs Kira's Followers, or something like that? Is that a good idea?

Guys, I think we should have a limit on the number of games queued up. Considering that most games with 25 or more players can take over a month to finish, then I think it's fair to say that 10 games queued is a lot. That's around 10 month's worth of games. Lmao. Otherwise, the list will just get backed up until 2070, and no will will ever get to host their game. I think probably 6-8 games max queued is enough, and after no new games should be accepted. That way, it's fairer to people who want to queue a game, since it'd be first come first serve, and those who pay attention enough to put an application in fast probably deserve to make the game most, and will at least likely be active for it.

I think we should up the cap on active games. We definitely should not bring it down to two, lol.

I don't want to hear anyone complaining about there being too many games or too much going on. Only join as many games as you can handle. It's your own fault if you get caught up in too many.

After I finish Blarzigord, I'm going on hiatus from Mafia games. The last few games have shown me that I can't really play fairly any longer since I'm usually one of the first targets by most players in the game. F&L, I was apparently targeted several times on Night Zero/One and I got taken out early in Blarzigord as well. So I'm taking a break besides hosting GoT.

But three or four active games is plenty at once, but we don't all need to be rushing to join 'em if we're already in a bunch.

You could try to only take part in 1 out of all current games that are running. If you're dead in all of them, then wait til' the next one comes up and join it and don't join others until that one is done or you die? It sucks having the fun taken out of games like these for that reason ;-;

I'd still be in the same boat I'm currently in, which is that I'm a big target. :P

After the Patriotic Blue incident at SMS3 as well as the Medic incident at THG I can see why people are targeting you lol

Well in THG, I was honestly the Medic, but was recruited to the baddies fast, then targeted immediately following that.

In Supporters 3, I still can't reveal what the Patriotic Blue thing was because that game is still going. :P

In F&L, since gimme and I were the siblings, I decided to lay low. I was told fast though that I was targeted by like six people, so it didn't much matter what happened to me there. :P I was dead from the go.

I think if I start getting roles, people will start targeting me too. I mean, look at THG, I did the same thing pretty much. Convinced people I was good, dragged them along with me and cut their throats (Jack the Ripper style hell yeah!) So I think you'll forever be alone in that respect Klippy :P

Special Mafia Rule No targeting Klippy during the first night
