Chit-Chat: the water closet closet

Glitch, if you've ever been to an actual tournament, you'd know that sitting next to a dirty, smelly, unwashed player in an auditorium that may not even have air conditioning isn't exactly pleasant. It's kind of like having to sit next to an unwashed guy on the subway or a bus, but longer.

I'll happily take part in the fandom from afar then. Got more enjoyment from the anime and video games than playing with the cards irl anyway.

Not even just tournaments its just in general. I mean it got like that at my work and I work at Round 1. If you stank so bad that your coworkers don't even want to stand next to you then there is a problem. Some people at work were getting so bad that they were being told to shower before coming to work. And if your coworkers can smell you can be sure that customers can smell you.

Is good personal hygeine out of fashion now or something? =/

I mean, if you don't have time for a shower in the morning, that's OK - I don't anyway; I get up at 5:30am to leave the house at 7am and I need to eat, and not wake everyone else in the house up with the sound of running water - but at least use some deodorant/perfume/body spray/whatever before you leave the house! It's not particularly difficult!

I don't shower every day unless I got really sweaty or like yesterday at work I was helping clean the pizza oven by scraping it and dear god I smelled like grease. Not only that I had burt, crusty bits everywhere. I was trying to decide where I had more in my hair or down the front of my shirt...lol. But I HAD to take a shower when I got home.

Unlike my best friend who HAS to shower every morning even if he's done nothing for the past day. You work hard I can see that but I don't see having to take a shower every day.

Women can get away with that. I was surprised when I heard how common it is for women to skip a shower day. Btw I didn't realise my little jab at the Yu-Gi-Oh community would turn this thread into a gross discussion of odors lol. My bad ya'll.

I have a bath or a shower every day to relax as much as to get clean...it's wonderfully calming to sit in a hot bath, especially during the winter. Shower is better to wash my hair or cool off in the summer though.

I shower every day. Except on some Saturdays here and there, but I shower every 99% of days.

The parent teacher conference I had today was...interesting to say the least. I'm exhausted after the meeting, but the Pokemon Direct cheered me up today...though my brain is still feels stagnant...and fuzzy. I might go to bed early tonight. *sigh*

I shower soon after I wake daily. I want to get in the habit of night showering though.
I also brush daily.

Speaking of brushing, I'm reminded that I need to buy a Waterpik flosser ASAP. Because I absolutely loathe flossing with string and mini brushes. The pressurised water ones that hygienists use are just so much better and easier to use.

I actually bought one on Amazon just now but then immediately found a cheaper one so rush to cancel order. xD;

Not bought that one yet...my Switch just gave me an orange screen of death. If it bricks I'll have to buy a Lite ;-;

Neither did I until I went to pick up my Switch earlier and was greeted by an orange screen...apparently it's an eShop/Wifi error, but the damn thing was in sleep mode. If it does it a second time I'll just buy a Lite and (hopefully) transfer my user over...I have an MHGU file I've spent over 700 hours on, I'd hate to lose all that D:
