The Wolf Among Us Mafia [Dawn Of The Ninth Day][GAME OVER!]

A voice cries out!

Hey, what's that? There's a town crier in this game without being listed? Isn't that strange?

Beware, the bad guys might have more powers than those mentioned as well.

Well, they might. Or they might not, really.

Why would the town crier know this D1?

Well, they might. Or they might not, really.

Why would the town crier know this D1?

Well I mean, it's not unreasonable to think that there's at least the possibility of the mafia having unlisted abilities if the town does. I don't think our mysterious crier is claiming to have certain proof, rather they're warning us that one way or another there are abilities at play we aren't fully aware of.

Hmm. That typing sounds familiar (?

It is. However that shouldn't be surprising since you regularly interact with the majority of the people in this game. That being said, I think I might know who it is. We'll see.

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who's the fairest of them all?

It's worth a try, right? It does say to ask it "the proper question," and that is the question for magic mirrors on walls.

It would be nice if we could find out how this mirror actually works. It doesn't look like it wants to give us any answers. Finding out who everyone visited like Desi said might be useful, but depending on the mirror's response, it could help the mafia figure out who our most powerful roles are.

So now there's a town crier. But...there was 32 roles and 32 players. Some of the roles must have more powers than those listed in the OP. Could be that they know the "bad guys" have more powers than those listed. Could just be speculation based on them having an unlisted power.

Maybe they are a bad guy. Maybe they aren't. Who knows.

EDIT: Ninja'd by Pie.
I'd agree that the hedging language does make it sound more like a warning.

Worrying times
Are we sure we wanna no vote?

Asking the mirror about Vivian's forbidden subjects is a good thought.

And yeah, Gimme, everyone managed to burst in to poetry ><. Priorities ;D. Wow in the time it took for me to post send someone else posted another one.

Have any of you even seen Snow White? It's Magic Mirror, so stop stuttering.

Magic Mirror, I'm your biggest fan;
Tell me, who is the Crooked Man?

And that's how you correctly ask a mirror for information.
[ARREST]No One

I also have a few more rhymes about roles, although one involves you know who, so we probably shouldn't ask that one.

My way of asking the mirror would be :

Mirror, mirror on the wall
True hope lies beyond the coast
You're a damned kind, can't you see
That the winds will change?

Maybe I'll sing it The Bard's Song later if I'm in the mood.

One unlisted ability of the mafia would be why Mary's role description says to beware of mirrors.

Also, Johnny, each game has a twist. You stated earlier that this game is too maf-sided, but you already seem to be discounting how certain roles may be used. If the town is in agreement, it probably would be possible to outright ask about certain roles. The problem is, the town needs to be in agreement. If we all ask different things, nothing will get answered. If we don't come up with a consensus on a question, we don't get to ask one. And that's why the mirror can be tricky.

Also, Mary tends to be with the Crooked Man. At one point in the game of TWAU, I'm fairly certain that Bigby asks the mirror where the Crooked Man is located. The mirror shows him, but Mary immediately turns to look through the mirror, sensing that something is watching. She then goes to walk towards it---because, with her abilities, she can walk through the mirror---forcing Bigby to stop spying on the Crooked Man.

The mirror is an incredibly useful tool, but it has its dangers and you must know how to use it.

Right, for the sake of us moving towards some kind of majority - I agree to go with Merlin's attempt.

Magic Mirror, I'm your biggest fan;
Tell me, who is the Crooked Man?

I'd wager Naku is right. I believe that does happen in the game. Bigby can't find his location through the Mirror as a result because of Mary. We can go with this request to the Mirror but I do worry it'll end up causing a problem so long as Mary is alive. :(

Also I'm on my phone and can't copy-paste the message for the Mirror but consider this a +1.

Well, if we have no information at all, it seems like jailing someone will be better than mislynching, so [ARREST] No One.

Magic Mirror, I'm your biggest fan;
Tell me, who is the Crooked Man?

I do like this one over all the others.

Mirror mirror, your so great
Tell me the crooked man and his fate

Magic Mirror, I'm your biggest fan;
Tell me, who is the Crooked Man?

It's possible this could trigger something with Mary, but also it might not be an instant punishment, as it wasn't in the game. Not sure how closely Nimsy plans to follow such things, though.

Alright, I will join you guys, Let hope it works and we get some usefull information!
