Other than putting a link in your signature, make sure your thread is enticing the information is there, interesting but not overwhelming.

Also people seem to really like looking at pokedex! :)
 
It's probably one of the last few sections people take a look at, especially when creators can always expand their Dex. Story and the general worldbuilding is what mainly allures me.
 

I think it's still a bit too early to say what makes a good region and what doesn't...worldbuilding takes time, and everyone moves at their own pace. Just continue with what you planned and things should pick up; every region is going to be unique~

I've got so much to do to Elysia it's daunting...but I'm hoping the level of detail I plan to go into will attract some people into joining! I have a few ideas for possible future events as well; after all, it WAS an RP region I built. It's inspiring me to consider starting it up again elsewhere, as well. xD;

 
It's really easy to get lost in creating your region I've discovered haha. What I originally intended to make a single paragraph of lore turned out to be several paragraphs long... and that's just one legend. So I say go for it Meloetta and the same to anyone else who is weary of going into a lot of detail.

Speaking of which, lore for Oceia is up and I've now made it sort of joinable xD

Basically acting as a supporter of fan :) individual regions are free to handle this in whatever way they like really.

For instance, in mine I'm hoping supporters will help develop ideas for locations and fleshing things out, and also helping in the contests!

I would make mine more religious as the entirety is based in different places different rules, but it's really driven by the person who joins

Yeah, definitely. I want to have periodical tournaments (Battle Server style). I was also thinking about having different organizations people can join and do stuff with. Other than that I'm still trying to figure stuff out. I kinda want to see what other regions do first. XD
 
Im planning my region to be made up of 4 islands, to they count towards the 10 locations cap?

The current contest is to make an emblem for your region - you can see that in my thread (Hendo) three of us have brainstormed some ideas, which is one way in which these supporters/followers/citizens contribute. After modding the RPT forum for two years this feels completely different to me :) there's an air of roleplay, perhaps, but that's not a focus.

yep some things!
Some fun Contests & events
Journeying from route to route and city to city
Battling tours and maybe competiting for e4 spots :)
Also some events completely in region on maybe what corporations theyd like to join and such~

My region depends on people joining and running their own kingdom in a bid to win the civil war. I am unsure how to use/incorperate the battle server thing so if I could have some help with that, maybe I can entice more nobles and knights to join.
