I recently volunteered at a middle school and some kid got his bike stolen on Friday. I felt bad for him so I helped him with some homework and stuff that he needed help on. I swear though... kids these days and knowledge don't mesh well... I just hope they catch the little shit that stole the bike and punish him accordingly. I know a bike might not be the most expensive thing in the world but it was really important to this kid and the kid's mom.

any ways, it reminded me of a time when my bike was stolen 15 years ago and I don't think I've ever gotten over it ohohoho!

Anyways, my question is have you ever had something of yours stolen from you that meant a lot to you personally? What was it? Did you ever get it back? Did you ever take something from someone that wasn't yours? Did you find the person that stole from you? What'd you do?

I never did get my bike back... It was a six-speed Gary Fisher that I never saw again. It was worth over $500 back in the early '90s to show the value of the thing. I sometimes think about it every now and then, on odd days. I don't know why it bugs me, but it distracts me form the rest of the bad times I guess ohohohoho! Enjoy the bike bitch and rot in hell ohohohohoho!

honestly i have not been a master thief in my time on earth

i just remember a time when jackie chan adventures was a thing, and it had a magazine or something with ~trading cards~ on the front cover. and i distinctly remember sitting in the back of a post office/general store when i was like 10 and, frightened out of my mind but determined, peeling back the crinkling cover of the card packet and slowly putting the cards into my pocket. was so worried that i'd be found out that i threw them out a day later lmao

Yup, my dad stole my old game boy color and games to sell at a yard sale for booze.
    I wish I was joking.

A "friend" of mine stole my Xbox One a few months back.
Stole, as in, he agreed to pay me for it a week later but then pretty much goes off the radar.
You think you could trust someone who's been a friend for a decade.

A kid stole some of my pokemon cards back in elementary school. One of them was my favorite Rampardos card. :/

There have been other small things stolen from me, but thankfully nothing valuable.

There were many pens I gave to classmates to use that I never got back after class.

Sophomore year of high school, when I got my very first phone. Someone saw that I was making a phone call and without me knowing, my phone was taken out of my pocket. I panicked a lot because I was given that phone for being very responsible for my actions. >_> Could not find who actually did it.
