Dang that's a tough one, but I guess I would accept the trade because Birch is funny and I can choose a Pokemon from not just 1 but 3 different starter sets from him in Oras, the Hoenn starters of course--my personal favorite, but then the Johto starters and the Sinnoh starters are unlocked post game. Plus, Hoenn makes me happy.
