I've never been in one! :( I tried to make one with my friend once. You can only imagine how far two young girls that don't know about building got though, haha. The closest I have to a treehouse is the cabin my grandfather built...it does actually have a cutout in the floor that takes you down into the woods, so it is elevated, just not in a tree. Kind of hard to describe.

I almost got to kiss a girl in a treehouse at a young age. Those were the days.

i don't remember being in a treehouse with you ;)

Treehouse? Haha, like that'll ever exist here. The old trees are always cut down and we're left with palm trees.

If a few pieces of wood attached to a tree to form a rickety platform with even more rickety walls counts as a tree house... then yes.

Psh, try having a treehouse in the desert. Closest I've had was a blanket-chair-house. Indoor treehouses are cooler, you get room service :P

Seeing as we moved every couple years as a kid, I never did have a treehouse. However, my uncle has one that's at least fifty feet off the ground. It can probably hold ten people comfortably, but it's several years old at this point, so I don't think I want to test that theory, haha.

I have! My ex-best friend from when I was younger had a treehouse that her dad built for her or something. It was so awesome, and I loved it! I kind of miss those days because we used to have so much fun in her treehouse too, you know?

I had a treehouse! Well, I shared one with a couple of kids in the neighbourhood; it wasn't on my property so I suppose it wasn't really mine, but I helped (sort of) build it! It got old really quickly, though...especially since it wasn't waterproof or particularly warm. Once winter came, that was it. xD

Years and years ago my aunt's property had a treehouse in an expansive tree of some kind, but calling it a house is exaggerating it somewhat. Given that it didn't have walls, or even a floor at an angle that one could sit on, calling it a tree anything is an exaggeration as well. It was just... there.

nope, have not been in 1

but have you been in 2?

I have been. A friend of mine built one in his backyard, and we used to sit there and play pokemon on our gameboys. And when we went out and played guns and robbers it was always our secret base, no girls allowed. The last time I went there it was still standing, but that's over a year ago now. It was a really cool one, it had multiple rooms, and you had to swing on a rope to get from one place to another, and it even had 2 floors. Great times.

We had a "treehouse" in the playground in primary school. It was a large portion of the playground built completely with solid wood and had one of those spider web things. It wasn't on a tree or anything so I never truthfully saw it as a treehouse, but it was made by the trees on large wooden poles that held it up. It was pretty big, so there was always someone in there at lunch, but my friends and I always had lunch in there - from what I can remember.

The only one I've been in wasn't technically a treehouse. It was between the trees on ground level. But I have seen a real treehouse, even yesterday, two streets from my house.

Yeah. my friend has a treehouse, so I've been in it before. Almost tried sleeping in it for the night once, but we both bailed out. But in short, indeed, I have!

My friend from childhood had an awesome treehouse we used to go up in and play Pokemon and stuff. It was fun. I really want to go in another one.
