Types you never use?

Are there any types of Pokémon that you either hardly ever use or just outright never use at all? I've not used many Bug types in all my years of playing Pokémon.

Ice is a type I've scarcely used in my main playthroughs, on the account of Ice-types typically being encountered too late in the game.

I try to go out of my way to use every new first stage / fully evolved Pokemon in a given game so I get a good variety of type usage. Overall though, if left to my own devices, I don't really use Rock types very much. ;;

I used to be that way too until I started doing challenge runs and came to find Rock Types in Generation 1 are really underestimated, particularly the fossil ones in Kabutops, Omastar and the speed-freak in Aerodactyl. Kabutops and Omastar though are extremely useful against Lorelei due to Rock's advantage on Ice(4 of her 5 Pokemon have the typing) and not being vulnerable to any of her moves(since Water resists itself and Ice doesn't harm Rock like it does Ground).

Of all the Types, I rarely use Bug Types(for obvious reasons in Generation 1...) and Fighting Types(Generation 1 did them no favors either). If I had other regions/generations, I might change my mind on those Types but I just don't use them when playing Yellow Version.

Rock. In my eyes, Steel types do everything Rock types can, but better.

I really like Poison-type but rarely find actual Poison-typed Pokemons that I like.

It's have to be the fighting type for me. I think the only time I used a pure fighting type is Hitmonchan on Crystal and honestly I'm tempted to restart that file so does that even count?? Oh, and I suppose I did have a Hariyama during a Nuzlocke but it died :( Did kinda make me want to use one normally one day but yeah they're almost never on my team.

It would definitely be Fairy-type for me. Besides Togekiss, Gardevoir, and Clefairy, most of the other ones I either don't like or are just meh to me.

...Now that I think of it, I hardly ever use Steel types on my "main" playthrough. The only example that comes to mind is Lucario in Y, and that was an outright gift (and doesn't "seem" like a Steel type). I wonder what the deal is?
Dark types have a bit of a lesser case - I used Liepard in Black and (N's) Zoroark in Black2, plus I used my Yveltal for some non-major battles (and snuggling) in Y, but that's it. Those Pokemon were pretty memorable to me, though, so I don't feel like I never use Dark types.

I've genuinely never used a Fighting-type, ever. They just don't appeal to me and I've always done fine without one so I honestly forget it even exists sometimes! I also think I've only ever used a Psychic type once or twice, same with Normal (aside from the standard Normal/Flying bird).

Rock is literally the only Pokemon type I cannot for the life of me ever remember using. I'm sure there must have been a duel type Rock Pokemon I've used at some point in my 20 years of playing these games but I really can't think of one lol

Usually Rock and Fighting (except for the Timburr line in BW), also I tend to use Fire little if I don't take that starter (and in fact it's the one I choose less often).
