I thought Log Horizon was pretty good? I haven't watched :(
 
I loved the character development in s1 where they focused mostly on the younger players (Minori and Co.). S2 brought in more Akatsuki and Shiroe development (while touching a bit more on the children). But I think S1 had a better package on the whole.
 
Can I say that I somehow keep on getting Meloetta and Kenchiin mixed up? :D

Well I did catalyse the thread titles twice haha. First time was at the previous thread when I started blabbing about Pandora Hearts thanks to my manga haul.

Damn right they butchered Log Horizon. I'm so disappointed. Thanks goodness this week's the final episode.
 
Basically what Sonata said. The show is great, but the pace got kinda ruined by Studio DEEN.
I was about to forgive what they did to Umineko no Naku Koro Ni... and then this happened.

Anyway, I'm currently reading the LN, so this too shall pass.
 
Oh god. Umineko. The bane of my existence.
After Higurashi, which I loved, I saw that there was a spiritual sequel. I was excited.
Then..what the hell happened? Missing explanations and sloppy execution of a great story. But, after reading/playing the VN, I can see the art direction made in the anime. The first part of the first game is literally exposition and setting up the story.
Well, we're never going to get a second season, so I'm sticking with the VN.
 
Umineko was so bleh. I remember watching it on my iPod during gym class(lol), and just being like "ok so this is all about proving to main character-sama that magic exists. I was unaware that I was watching a 12 part Disney movie."


It's so hard to not look at the Death Parade thread. I know it ended, and I haven't watched since the episode with Hamada ugh ;_;

Maybe I'll make that my mission for tonight.

I would ask how, but I'm kinda afraid of the answer, so...ehhhhh. xD

I need to get around to watching both seasons of Log Horizon, but I guess I've kinda been put off the whole MMORPG anime thing by how truly awful SAO (or, at least, it's second half - I haven't watched the second season yet) was. I can't quite bring myself to read LNs, because none have really interested me enough yet...and it's like reading the book or the movie - I do one or the other, because I inevitably end up hating whichever one I do second =P

Well, I'll probably go back to a Precure soon or something, aha...I'm just in the mood for Lockon at the moment. I've been casually watching Reconguista and I really don't care for it; I miss 00. xD
