Played a bit of FireRed over the past few days, and here's where I am:

Poison UMC:
Currently on: FireRed

- Received Bulbasaur as starter
- Beat Brock and received the Boulder Badge
- Bulbasaur evolved into Ivysaur
- Caught Nidoran(M)
- Nidoran(M) involved into Nidorino
- Beat Misty and received the Cascade Badge
- Used Moon Stone to evolve Nidorino into Nidoking
- Beat Lt. Surge and received the Thunderbadge

Dragon UMC.. finally an update!

Well, ive been playing on and off over the past two weeks, so i couldnt really find a good time to update. So here's a brief review..

Picked turtwig, after eterna i got Nibbles, the Gibble, getting earthquake with it(thank you jdthebud). Mad it to hearthome and Nibbles evolved, beat the leader with dragon claw. made my way to the next gym, beat the leader easily. saved dawns pokedex, then went to pastoria and beat crasher wake, help from staravias intimidate against floatzel. And now im at my current spot.

I caught the galactic member and slapped him real fast. got the secret potion from cynthia, used it, and caught fluffball, the swablu. Currently grinding her to catch up with nibbles.

-After wandering aimlessly in the hell-hole that is Silph Co, I finally found Blue and defeated him. (I also taught Inferno Earthquake)
-Defeated Giovanni without any trouble
-Went to Fuchsia City and the Safari Zone
-Lapras - Surf and Strength slave
-Defeated Koga (Inferno's Earthquake)
-Went to Cinnabar next to catch some new teammates
-Caught a Ponyta and named him Blitz
-Caught a Growlithe and named him Flare
-Started grinding Flare and Blitz (mostly Flare so he can learn Flamethrower and then I can evolve him)

Ok so more...things from my water monotype run.

-beat all them trainers north of cerulean
-handily beat Misty with wartortle by spamming mega punch
-made my way to vermillion, and magikarp finally evolved! thank god!
-caught oddish the cut slave, as well as a few other random pokes so i could get flash
-made the SS anne look like a sham with gyarados and wartortle. also destroyed gary and got cut
-beat lt. surge by spamming dig with wartortle
-traded spearow for the random guys farfetch'd so I could have a cut/fly slave
-made my way through diglett tunnel and got flash
-beat all the trainers on the way to, in and around rock tunnel
-beat all the trainers south of lavender town because I thought I could get a super rod, but I need a poke flute before I could get to the house with the guy in it :/ but on the plus side wartortle evolved! yay!

Hi im GXS, and im participating in the single monotype challange for RBY Fighting. Im using red version on an emulator.

Update 1:
I started my game, chose charmander, and found out the first fighting type i can get my hands on is route 5, a mankey, so i used only my charmander to beat brock and misty(not catching any other pokemon, and panning to dump it as soon as i get my mankey)
So i go and catch mankey and level it up to lvl 21

Sped through the S.S. Anne and got cut.
Went back to viridian through diglett cave to get flash
Beat Lt. Surge no problem
Caught another mankey leveled it up to a primeape
Leveled my old mankey up to a primeape
Caught a machop in rock tunnel and leveled up to a machoke
ended in lavender town, battle with rival.

Hey Guys, Just started Bug ultimate monotype challenge on Fire Red on an emulator. Used charmander until viridian forest caught caterpie and weedle grinded them to lvl 10 each and butterfrees confusion tore Brock apart.

Final Update for Grass UMC!

Final Update (#5) on Black.

• Postgame, here we come.
• The first thing I did was catch I Dratini with the Super Rod and evolve it into Dragonite for an HM Slave.
• Then I caught Puncher the Shroomish for my final team member.
• Grinding went slowly. Normally I try to get everyone to around L70, but I didn't this time cause I wanted to finish it.
• Anyway, after getting everyone to L65, I beat Cheren in Victory Road (team effort), Morimoto in Castelia City (near sweep by Majesty with a Coil setup, Pokey finished off Simisage), and finally Cynthia, which was a sweep by Watchman (Swords Dance x3, and outsped everyone but Garchomp, who missed with Stone Edge).
• Used a few Rare Candies, then took on the Elite Four. No one gave me any real trouble.
• Alder was up next, and I did lose once (damn Vanilluxe and Blizzard), but the second time around I pushed through thanks to a Blizzard miss (and a Max Revive) to win!

- Got through Mt. Moon without too much trouble suprisingly, Free swept mostly.
- At Cerulean Spore took out Misty with bullet seed.
- Rivals Pidgeotto was quite challenging but after a sleep powder that actually hit (fudgen sand attack) he was down.
- St. Ann not too much trouble, again spore swept with bullet seed.
- Vermilion Gym spore swept with dig.
- Ended at Rock Tunnel.

Hey guys, finally started Johto.
Decided to go with heart gold for spinarak but i just coldn't resist trading a ledyba egg to my game. Very hard to level up with their bad stats, especially ledyba. Well even Falkner is pathetic as a gym leader against bugs his strong. Just won with cleo's supersonic. Traveled though union cave and saved the slowpoke from my old rivals, team Rocket. Fought another bug mono type challenger called bugsy. cleo killed his cacoons and dennis took on scyther. Cleo leveled up and evolved. Caught a pineco and in ilex forset and saved

-name rater time! went with a Doctor Who theme, nicknamed Blastoise "The Doctor" and Gyarados "Dalek"
-got to Celadon without fighting many trainers
-first thing was get my Eevee, called it "Tardis"
-bought 3 water stones, used one on Tardis
-wiped the trainers west of Saffron with Tardis
-beat the Rockets in the game corner with mainly Tardis and a little help on Giovani from Dalek
-absolutely destroyed my rival at pokemon tower, then proceded to destroy everything in my path and rescued Mr Fiji
-obtained Pokeflute, went south of Lavender town beat Snorlax and got the Super Rod (commence fishing session)
-Caught a Shellder, didn't nickname cuz I probably won't use Closter, and a Poliwag named Rory
-Saved the game
