-Defeated Rival in Pokemon Tower
-Saved Mr. Fuji and received Poke Flute
-Defeated Rival in Sliph Co. Building
-Defeated Giovanni
-Woke Snorlax and captured, deposited in box
-Rode down cycling road to Fuchsia.
-Obtained Surf from Safari Zone
-Defeated Koga
-Surfed to Power Plant, caught Magnton.
-Defeated Sabrina
-Surfed to Cinnabar and began Pokemon Mansion.

-Did the miniquest in Ilex forest.
-Trained Quilava on my way to Goldenrod city.
-Defeated Whitney.(Kinda suprised that her Milktank didnt used rollout over and over like in the original game..)


-Defeated Sudowoodo.
-Caught a Growlithe and trained him.
-Went into burnt Tower and defeated my rival.
-Released the legenderies.
-Defeated Morty.

Flying UMC Update #5 Team Rocket and the Evil Ghost

I run to Lavender, and check out the spooky old Ghost Tower. Guess who?
Ganon Vs. Link 5
Pwned him with my over-leveled pokes. Not worth play-by-play account.

I get creeped out by the vibes, and run to Celadon. Creepy dude outside of Gym informs me if only for ladies. That's when I know there's no need to prepare. I rush in and 1HKO ever single pokemon in there. I come out with a RainbowBadge. The names women think of these days.....

I go gambling to celebrate my victory! I win 150~ Coins! I look at a cool poster, and acidentaly find the TR Celadon lair. Sweet. 1 Giovanni later, I find Fushia city, get 3 HMs, catch Ruto the Goldeen for surf slave, and I save.
My Team:

Sheik the Charizard, Lvl. 38, Flamethrower, Mega Kick, Wing Attack, Counter
Navi the Pidgeot, Lvl. 38, I forget his moves ATM
Goron the should-be-Crobat but I don't have the NatDex.

HM Slaves:
Minish (Meowzie got renamed.... need the LoZ theme) the Meowth for Flash, Cut, and Pickup is handy.
Ruto the Goldeen, for Surf..... replacement could be a good idea.

Final Dragon UMC update for sinnoh!

Alright, I beat volkner extremely easily, thanks to Nibbles. I made it to the league, beat my rival, pretty easily as well. At this point, im at level 62ish i think, so i dont grind at all and challenge them straight up.

Aaron:
I started with Fuffball, using flamethrower. i took out all of his team with her, except for his drapion. I used Nibble and earthquake for that.

Bertha:
I started with fluffball again, thinking it would be just ground with no secondary types. I forgot thats all she has basically. I killed the wiscash with her, but switched to Nibbles for golem and rhyperrior. Fluffball ice beamed her other 2 pokes.

Flint:
Started with Nibbles, never switched out. I used earthquake to kill them all. Easiest out of all of them by far.

Lucian:
Started with Nibbles, and basically crunched her whole team. Easy battle, like the other three.

Cynthia:
The hardest of them all(no surprise). i had nibbles use earthquake and dragon claw to take out her spiritomb. Then switched out to icebeam her garchomp with fluffball. i had to revive her twice, but it still went down. Lucario, flamethrower and dead. Milotic was next, and i dragon rushed her down. Togetic, ice beam. and roserade flamethrower and icebeam.

Nibbles was superior throughout the whole game. He helped me through any tight spots that i ran into. He helped through basically all of the gyms, and took half the work with the E4 and champ. Useful all around. Looking forward to the ground run with him!


Fluffball/Altaria

Level 64

-Dragon Pulse
-Flamethrower
-Dragon Dance
-Ice Beam

Fluffball came in somewhat late, which made her hard to train, but it was worth it. Despite the fact that her spec. attack wasnt the best, she was kind of my trump card in some battles, due to the fact that she had flamethrower and ice beam. She took care of 1 gym, but it was worth it. And she took care of the other half of the E4 and champ.

Done with this leg of my dragon mono. Dragon is clearly the most superior type so far. I would start my normal one right away, but im kinda platinum'd out for the time being, so i will be starting another umc, but with dark types. I will be playing crystal and hacking in a houndour. i will try to get a post in by today, possibly

Update for Final Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Water).

Previous Update.

It's been quite a while (20 days or so :paranoid:), but here it is.

Update #7 on HeartGold.

Cantering around Kanto.

Spoiler:

• First thing I did when I landed in Kanto was to teach some TMs.
• Earthquake and Cut to Torrent, Thunder to Lapras, and Focus Blast to Kermit.
• My team was too weak to fight the gym leaders, so I started to ride my bike around Kanto, training everyone up.
• I did the Power Plant quest, and eventually I was in Fushia City.
• Now it was time to give my grinding strategy a boost.
• I caught a Venonat up north of Cerulean with the Compoundeyes ability, then started looking for Chansey.
• It has a 1% rate, so it took a while, and the first two I encountered didn't have a Lucky Egg. The third one did!
• This last couple steps took about 2 hours real time (not so long in-game since I reset with each failed Chansey).
• Now armed with a Lucky Egg, I beat the rest of the trainers around Fuchsia, then took on Jasmine.
• Man, she was tough. Cleopatra cruised along until her Venomoth spammed Double Team and killed everyone except for Rider, who finally took it down.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Then I headed through Diglett's Cave and took on Brock. He was easy, for obvious reasons. Pincher was able to solo him.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Went through Mt. Moon, beating Tyson there, and went straight for the Cerulean Gym. Light and Rider combined for the win here.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• I went up north and killed Suicune, then headed for the Celadon Gym this time.
• I probably should have waited to take on Erika - she beat me twice - but Rider and Light pulled it out in the end.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Then I made a beeline for Lt. Surge, who was no match for Torrent's Earthquake.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• I surfed to Cinnabar from Pallet Town, then on to the Seafoam Islands, where Blaine was waiting. Pincher, Torrent, and Rider were the winners here.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• The next gym leader was the last one left before Blue, Sabrina. Cleopatra was able to solo her with some healing help.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• And that's it for this update. Right now I'm just about to go grinding against the "easy" Elite Four to prepare for the fight against Blue, then it's on to the "upgraded" Elite Four and then Red. I'm saved at Indigo Plateau.

Okay, now I need to finish that Fire-type challenge.
In a few hours, I'll start on the Unova run of the Fire-type challenge, so that I'll be a real champion again and not just have my name in brackets. I'll update, as soon as I start!

UMC: Heart Gold (Ground Types)
Update 6

• Healed at Blackthorn, then went south to catch a Gligar (Razer).
• Trained Hoover up to evolve into Piloswine, and then searched Cianwood for a Heart Scale… took me like 2 hours to find one. But I got it, and the Move Tutor taught Piloswine Ancient Power so I could evolve him into Mamoswine! Also, I never noticed before, but Piloswine's HP skyrockets when it evolves. Good lord.
• Grinded a bit more, then went to face Claire for the first time… wow. Kingdra is tough. I had to use about 4 Revives, and even then, her Dragonair beat me. More grinding needed.
• Eventually, I did beat Claire… Zippy was my savior. I got very lucky with Yawn on both Dragonairs, and Earthquake sealed the deal against Kingdra.
• Now working on getting Razer up to par… at least now I can go to Kanto and fight some trainers for experience.

Okay, scratch that last entry. I didn't feel like doing a Fire-run in Unova after all, so I decided on finishing my Ultimate Grass-type Challenge. So, here goes: The final lap in my Grass-type challenge. I'll post a proper update later, but for now, I've only just battled Cheren and Bianca in my room and beat them both with my Snivy.

Poison UMC Hoenn Leg in Sapphire

This isn't a full update, but my team is currently in the lower part of Sootopolis Gym. I'm grinding Tetrid III (Tentacruel) and Wadrus (Vileplume) up to Lv 40 or so to fight Wallace. The rest of the team (Etzik the Seviper, Mito III the Muk, and Daclus II the Crobat) are Lv. 38.

Update 7

• Flew over to Ecruteak to beat the Kimono Girls. Umbreon was rough, I couldn't get any hits in at all… Finally won though.
• KO'd Ho-oh atop Ecruteak Tower (oops). Oh well, I wouldn't be able to use him anyways.
• Made my way through Kanto, battled all the trainers, picked up some phone numbers, grinded a ton.
• Got to Victory Road and took on my Rival. Nieds' Double Kick owned Sneasel easily, Shadow Ball killed Kadabra, and Sludge Bomb took care of Meganium (for the most part) before Petal Dance knocked him out. Razer's Earthquake and Quick Attack finished it. Magneton fell to Zippy's Earthquake, then I sent out Totodile (HM slave) as a pawn to revive Nieds and used Shadow Ball to beat Haunter. Then Nieds missed with Thunder on Golbat and fainted, so Zippy ended it with a couple of Waterfalls.
• I'm finally at Indigo Plateau, but I need more training to get my levels up. Next update will probably be my start against Will.

Flying UMC Update #6 The Stuff I Forgot And The Stuff I Did Next

I realize I forgot Goron's level as of Update #5 (38) and I forgot that I saved Mr. Fuji from TR in the tower. Both of those pieces of info were meant for Update #5, but got left out. Sorry!

I went to Silph Co. next, and solved the puzzle. GUESS WHAT? GANON WAS THERE FIRST!?!?! WTF!

Ganon Vs. Link 6

I surprisingly powned him all with Goron. Im 1337.

Next was Giovanni, and I solo'd him with Sheik. More 1337.

I went to Sabrina's gym, and found out that if you only use the teleporter directly above you or below you you will end up in front of Sabrina without battling any of her trainers! She got pwned by Goron's bite and Navi's Fly.

I flew to Fushia, and did a quicky OWN on Koga. Easy as poison pie.

Now I'm at Cinnibar, in front of the mansion.

You won't be able to get Xatu until after you beat the Elite Four, you know, and the challenge officially ends on FR/LG after you beat the E4 the first time. You can beat them again if you want, but it's not necessary to complete the challenge and move on to the next game.

-Started with Cyndaquil, rushed through Mr. Pokemon losing to Rival and running from all wild
-Hacked Elekid due to no further Electric types until Route 38, Deposited Cyndaquil
-Continued to Violet City and climbed Sprout Tower
-Easily defeated Falkner
-Rushed towards Union Cave-caught Sandshrew (HM slave)
-Arrived in Azalea and chased out Team Rocket, then fought Bugsy
-Ran through Ilex Forest.
-Arrived in Goldenrod City
-Bought and gave Elekid Fire and Ice Punch
-Hatched and deposited Togepi and Tyrogue.
-Beat Whitney (not very easy with only Elekid)
-Moved towards Ecruteak, activated Bill
-Went to Route 38/39 and Olivine City.
-Caught Magnemite and Chinchou

Update #7 on my Fire-type UMC.

-After beating Morty i trained Growlithe until i reach Olivine City i believe.
-Defeated everyone in the lighthouse and got a good rod.
-Found out that i could surf on a krabby. O_O
-Trained Growlithe again.
-Saw Suicune again and defeated that wierdo dude.
-Defeated the Cinawood's gym leader. His Poliwrath...a real pain in the ...
Reversal for the win. :D

-Made my way back to the lighthouse and crap... i forgot the secret potion.. -_-
-Caught a flying slave to get back to Cinawood and went back to Olivine.
-Gave the potion to Jasmine.
-Defeated Jasmine no big deal.

-Returned to Ecruteak and defeated Kimono Sisters
-Taught Chinchou surf
-Activated the roaming legendary dogs
-Defeated Morty
-Trained Magnemite, Chinchou, and Elekid to evolve.
-Revisited Olivine and climbed Lighthouse.
-Surfed over to Cianwood and easily stomped on Chuck.
-Surfed back to Olivine and delivered Secret Potion
-Struggled yet beat Jasmine with Electabuzz's Fire Punch and Laturn's Surf (Steelix paaaain in the ***)
-Quickly made way towards Mahogany and Lake of Rage
-Caught Red Gyarados (HM Slave)
-Easily ran through Rocket Hideout and Pryce.
