Underneath the Town Tree ♤ The Animal Crossing Club

Last night when I was trying to smash rocks with my shovel, I kept seeing a little dot moving away from the rocks, and it ended up being a pill bug. Took me a while to actually realize it was a bug and not a haunted piece of rock. xD
 
I didn't knew you can dig bugs o.O
I know how I'll spend my night.
 
i always thought mole crickets were just a background noise, it would be nice if there was some dialogue on how to catch mole crickets rather than empty requests lol. i've caught the fastest fleeing but i've yet to catch the hardest to find. i'm actually scared of the scorpions and tarantulas so i usually only play during the day.
 
I only played Animal Crossing during winter, I've yet to see the other insects during other seasons ;~;
 
really? then i can't wait for you to see the other seasons! especially when the cherry blossoms bloom in spring... and catching fireflies on summer evenings. there's also a lot more bugs to catch in summer in general.

that's not to say there's no fun in winter though! you have to make the most of it while it's here. for example: have you tried building all the different kinds of snowmen yet?
 
I actually built every snowman they have :P

Right now I got like 4 snowman in my town for the bingo :D
 
I've been trying to build a snowman in my town, but I ended up throwing the snowballs in the river. fml.

Just letting everyone know that Club LOL is opening soon in my town. I'm excited. :D

We should all get together again and go clubbing... virtually! xD
When Club LOL opens, don't forget you can go from 12pm-8pm to give Shrunk some fruit so he can teach you how to have emotions (make different facial expressions/gestures.) There are 40 in all. Every day except Saturday from 8pm-2am, DJ K.K. will be playing his jams. Saturday nights ya got normal K.K. Slider performing.


Ah yeah I finally got around to making a design for Brendan's Contest Outfit. Kinda rough this time since there weren't primarily analogous colors in the costume's palette to make a smooth blend like in the other designs. I'm not sure what I should make next after this, if anything. No inspiration at the moment.

Mine is Do you wanna build a snowman, I'm keeping it until winter is over :)

My friend and me played at my house and we did go clubbing!! XD That's the only club I am going to :P

You can switch up the gyroids that are initially used on the stage at Club LOL by going in before nighttime.

What town tunes do you all have your towns set to?
mine is currently inspired by the main (opening) theme from Animal Crossing: Wild World. i recently heard that tune again and became so nostalgic i needed to incorporate it.

on another note: on February 3rd, it will be Setsubun in my town, probably better known as the Bean Throwing Festival. Isabelle will be in the town square handing out Ogre masks, and if you wear them, villagers will throw beans at you if you talk to them.
of course, throwing beans yourself is equally fun! i'll be opening the night of the festival probably, but i might also time travel a bit so we have it on the weekend too, if there's any interest for that.

incidentally, isn't tomorrow Groundhog Day for you with the US game? have fun, and cherish that figure of the mighty RESETTI ( >艸<)

I have no idea what we will be doing but okay :D

My one town of Duloc has the Duloc theme song from Shrek (if you've seen Shrek you know the one haha). I'm quite proud of it tbh.

And I can't remember, they don't actually do anything for Groundhog's Day do they?

Carmen is gone!! She was my favorite character in my town, she was there since the all begginning a year ago!!
 
isn't there a cardboard cutout thing as well? those are fun for pictures at least ( ´ ▽ ` )ゞ

aw, that's unfortunate about Carmen... especially when they're one of your starters, it's extra sad when they leave isn't it?
if it's any consolation, T-Bone is moving out of my town today. he can move into yours if you like! ... but he's not quite like Carmen.
