Welcome trainers, to the Unova region! Unova is more of an isolated region away from the others. It resembles a modern, metropolitan society filled with large cities and a large amount of people.

In mythology, Unova was created by uniting the warring peoples of the land by twin heroes. They used a single dragon sometime more than 2500 years ago. The brothers started to argue over their beliefs; the elder brother sought truth and the younger brother sought ideals. Their arguments split the single dragon into Reshiram, who sided with the older brother, and Zekrom, who sided with the younger brother. Since they were both born from the same dragon neither could defeat the other and the brothers declared that there was no right side. However, eventually their sons continued the fight and both the dragons started to battle again, destroying the Unova region with their fire and lightning powers before disappearing.

In Unova, you'll be able to collect all of the Unovian Pokemon, as well as some old time classics! You'll be also travelling throughout the region, visiting the towns/cities/caves/landmarks along the way!

However, there will be many challenges, and ideology to consider. How will you shape the future of Unova? Through the value of your own ideals, or the real truth of the world? As many obstacles and more will be on your way, it's all on your hands how you will shape the future.

Things to Remember

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR UNOVA?
With any Meta Journey region, you go to the Meta Hub to sign up. Once your region leader has told you that you are accepted, you can see your name in the roster in the region thread - this thread! The Hub is situated in the Theatre (main forum) for easy access, but the region threads sit in the Roleplay Casting subforum. Basically, go sign up for Unova in Meta Hub thread, and then come back here to start collecting!

HOW DO I COLLECT POKÉMON?
We'll call this the "Meta Journey" for a reason. You won't be making any roleplaying posts in this thread directly, nor in the region threads. Rather, it is what you do in other threads that matters!

For each 2 IC posts you make in the Roleplay Stage in any normal roleplays, you may choose one pokémon from the current area in your character's region to add to your collection. Simply make a post in your region thread, linking back to two IC posts you have made in real roleplays.

You cannot use posts that were made before you joined the Meta Journey.

You can also spend 6 Theatre posts, as these are equal in worth to 2 IC posts in the Journey. All Theatre threads count, except for ones with the Chit-chat prefix

Meaning, even posts in the Hub count! As long as they were made after you were accepted into a region, of course.

You need to pay for each pokémon in either IC (Stage) posts or Theatre posts. No mixing of currencies at this point!

Current Location

Twist Mountain ネジ山

Twist Mountain is a location in Pokémon Black and White and Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. It is in the Unova region to the north of Route 7 and its eastern terminus is in Icirrus City.

In Black 2 and White 2, this location is inaccessible before entering the Hall of Fame, since the entrance from Route 7 is blocked by Marshal and the Tubeline Bridge entrance is blocked for weight testing. After entering the Hall of Fame, in addition to these two entrances becoming accessible, Clay completes his tunnel from Driftveil City into Twist Mountain, called the Clay Tunnel.

Aspertia City contains some prominent areas of interest such as the Aspertia Gym, a lookout, and a Pokémon Center. It is a newly developed area containing modern buildings and houses.

Floccesy Town サンギタウン
A battered-looking clock tower is right behind the Pokémon Center. It has a light purple roof and a bell. Vines are growing around the base of it. It is either missing the clock itself, or the hands of the clock. According to history, the tower tells of the town's beginnings. The outskirts of the town is home to the region famous Floccesy Ranch. The town is also the home to the former Champion, Alder.

Virbank City タチワキシティ
A bustling city in the Southwest region of Unova, there is plenty for trainers to explore. The city offers a Pokemon Gym, Harbor the Virbank Complex and PokeStar Studios all within a short walk of each other. Poison, Fire and Electric types are prominent in the city leading to trainers in the area specializing in those types. The city also offers a ferry service to Castelia City, the only way to reach the rest of Unova.

EVENT:

Team Plasma grunts have been seen in the city. Police have responded immediately and have trapped them in the sewers but are unable to get down there themselves due to a barricade created by the grunts. Lucky for you, there is a back entrance into the sewer system that you have noticed. Without thinking, you charge through the back entrance into the sewers. Now, it is up to you to stop and apprehend the criminals and bring them to justice. Only Trainers with at least 1 evolved Pokemon will be able to complete this event and receive a special reward for the capture of the grunts.

*Disclaimer: This is open to all trainers in the region. You do not need to post an IC post for this. Simply having an evolved Pokemon qualifies you for this event and you will receive the reward. Now go evolve your 'mons!

Good thing you already evolved one Pokemon, though feel free to evolve more ~~maybe i'll make the reward extra special if ya do~~
