Unpopular Opinions

Got something you like, that other people seem to hate? Or maybe you don't see the appeal of something that everyone else seems to be crazy about. Whatever it is, I'm sure we all have some unpopular opinions, so let's hear 'em.

I'll start it off with:
I think Lamborghinis are pretty ugly.

I hate sports.
but it seems that will never leave me alone.

I hate the Walking Dead TV series.
It is a perfect demonstration of what would happen when the apocalypse occurs and the only people who survive are horny idiots and drama queens. It should be called, "No! What Are You Doing?! Stop That Now!"

Yes!!
In fact, any zombie apocalypse show I just find uninteresting like Walking Dead and High School of the Dead but everyone praises it to no end. x.x

I love zombie-themed shows and movies, but it is being horribly overdone now. I really, really wanted Walking Dead to do well, and I've watched every episode. I just don't think it's very good. It's a soap opera with maybe a zombie encounter. For a serious take on the zombie apocalypse, it is too frustrating to watch without getting pissed off at the characters for being extremely stupid. As for High School of the Dead, the outrageous fan-service had me rolling. It doesn't beat Is This a Zombie? in my eyes, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. It was funny to me. I like a good comic relief, even if it is perverted.

Elementary is infinitely better written and directed than Sherlock. I couldn't even get through the Sherlock pilot.

I love Final Fantasy XIII.

I'll do you one better - I love Final Fantasy X-2. I'm honestly not sure which is more hated.

On a less pop-culture note, I think that all dress codes (including ones against public nudity) should be abolished and anyone should be able to wear anything to all jobs and schools and other places.

1. I find feminists are usually either radical or hypocritical. I despise the current movement with a fiery passion and I think the first wave feminists are crying in their graves at what their movement has turned into.

2. Rape culture in Western Society is a myth perpetuated by said feminists. In no western country do we go "alright boys, it's time to go out and have as much consensual sex as possible. The more the better." The patriarchy is similarly a myth.

3. I'm a firm believer that one can hate feminism and still support gender equality, just you know, actual gender equality.

Unrelated to that?

4. I think watching all the popular sports is incredibly dull. I'd much rather play a the game myself than watch a bunch of people running around.

5. Soccer is a much more appealing name than football, even if football is much more accurate in relation to the game than to other games called "football" - NRL and AFL I'm looking at you.

6. "Real women" do not have to be curvy. There's many different body shapes and I will not be told what to be attracted to by the masses.

7. Mainstream music isn't bad because it's mainstream. Its bad because the majority of mainstream artists possess very little talent. There are plenty of terrible underground and obscure artists too.

8. A picture that is just a shape and nothing else, no matter how perfectly crafted, does not belong in an art gallery.

9. There is nothing wrong with a man enjoying romance or drama. Although tbh I don't enjoy these is western media much at all. Weirdly enough it is much more bearable in anime.

10. The twilight novella is significantly better than the main series and is actually a really good read.

11. FPS games are generally boring and fail to achieve the goal of making me feel like I'm the character.

12. I find most of these "hot" celebrities quite unattractive.

13. There is nothing wrong with the song Blurred Lines.

14. Miley Cyrus has an amazing voice, she just wastes it on terrible music. This is true of a few artists really.

15. There's nothing wrong with an age gap in a relationship and that includes very young adults and high schoolers. I think that current laws need a lot of reviewing even though such a relationship is technically not illegal (not in my country anyway).

16. The carbon tax should never have been implemented. Instead marijuana should have been legalised and heavily taxed and tobacco and alcohol taxes should have been increased. Then all that money should have gone towards environmental conservation efforts, green energy and education.

17. Privatisation needs to be minimised because it takes resources to which we are all entitled out of the reach of the poor and takes away from government revenue.

18. Kanto is probably the most boring of the pokemon regions.

19. This post is not too long.

20. We should really stop harping on about it when mods do their job.

There's a lot more but I'll leave it at 20 for your sakes.

I think Taylor Swift's new song isn't that bad. I'mma just shake off all the hate I get from this.

It seems like you are mostly speaking about Laurie, who every Walking Dead fan pretty much hates.

SPOILER ALERT!
Spoiler:

1. I like grimy dubstep. I appreciate the audio engineering skill and creativity that goes into it. There is more than buttons being pressed, and if you don't recognize that I won't discuss this with you heh

2. Recent topic elsewhere; I dislike Smogon intensely. I think they're an opiate to the intellectual and creative demands competitive pokemon requires.

3. I have no interest in Game of Thrones, Final Fantasy, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Frozen, Five Nights at Freddy's, Half Life, or Legend of Zelda as of late. (I do love earlier Zelda though, and recognize they're still good, I just have no intention to play them.)

4. I'm not particularly concerned with most political elections.

5. I think Microsoft is actually a very respectable company.

6. Fight Club, as a movie - unsettled me more than it entertained me.

7. I'm actually getting tired of hate on CoD. I really hate it too guys, buuut we're starting to get more repetitive than their franchise's titles. Let it fester and die quietly. It's not Lindsay Lohan. We can leave it alone now.

8. I will never drive a non-american made car. I grew up in Detroit, so this is kind of understandable.

9. I thought the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was actually a pretty good movie.

10. No, I'm actually not sick of ponies yet. Don't think I will be anytime soon.

SPOILER ALERT!
Spoiler:

Actually, I considered Rick and Andrea to be entirely incompetent when it comes to rational thought. If I got stuck in a group like that, I would have probably bailed to take my chances alone. I am hoping it gets better next season. But it really feels as if they've learned nothing from these experiences. The character development is sluggish and frustrating, but yeah, you were right about my distaste with Laurie, but it definitely didn't stop with her.

1. The Lord of the Rings trilogy is extremely boring.

2. Star Wars is poorly directed and extremely boring.

Time to get explosive....

3. I still like Mel Gibson.

16. The carbon tax should never have been implemented. Instead marijuana should have been legalised and heavily taxed and tobacco and alcohol taxes should have been increased. Then all that money should have gone towards environmental conservation efforts, green energy and education.

I wanted the carbon tax to work as a nice hard slap in the face of people who don't know how to turn off electrical devices (leaving everything on standby) but still choose the whine about electricity prices (and the carbon tax). THEY WILL NEVER LEARN! I want to crush their faces.

1. I think Miley Cyrus looked infinitely better and more appealing ever since she cut her hair.

2. I usually like going for the bad guy in a lot of settings, including TV shows, Movies, etc. That is, if the villain is appealing to me.

Off the top of my head.. I have a couple.

1.) As much as I poke fun at them, I actually like EA as a company. I like their games and I don't think Origin has the horrible, impossible-to-navigate UI that The Internet has made it out to be.

2.) On that note, despite all the jokes made, I like several of the CoD games. Even newer titles.

As much as I like the show, I have to agree. There's a lot of things they could/should have accomplished by now. How come they never use a truck? You are in The South™. Take advantage of the pick-ups with a lift kit. You'll find them everywhere. Trust me. But they always pick a really low, dinky little car. Oh right, funded by Hyundai.
But even armor-plating the vehicles. Really? You couldn't have done that yet?
Why are there no makeshift silencers? Do you have any idea how simple they can be to make? You have had supposed gun nuts in your group. Nope, let's just write off guns altogether and/or fight about when you're allowed to fire one when we're out because the noise will attract a bazillion zombies, immediately, without fail.

I'll stop there, lol. Little things like that just upset me. You're supposed to be a survival show. Act like it.

Amusingly, all my opinions that are basically diametrically opposed to these also feel pretty unpopular. Maybe it's just unpopular to have public opinions on social issues.
