lol the only thing you like in here cheap food. That's all.

I don't care how much my food costs as long as it tastes good and doesn't upset my stomach.

I think the closest one to me is in Guildford or something...that's bloody miles away ._.

Yeah I'd say the closest to me are Bristol or Guildford.
I guess it's not a very widespread chain in this country at the moment? That said, there are a lot of them in London.

I am almost certainly going to have chips for dinner tonight now.

I keep forgetting that chips means something different in the UK/Europe, than it does here in the US so when you said you're having chips I was like "why would you have potato chips for dinner, that doesn't seem like enough to eat?" Then I remembered you mean french fries....

my nearest five guys is a minuscule 12,000 kilometres away.

Spoiler:

are they worth the flight? tell me

also, these new mcdonalds 'loaded fries' they have over here are literal shit. don't try them, for your own sake.

Honestly I never go to McDonald for a good meal,I just go when I'm really hungry and want something cheap. And now they sacrificed their best items (the wraps) when they introduced the all day breakfast so now it's not even good for a quick, cheap meal.

I used to go there all the time when I was a kid; like most kids I loved happy meals. Kinda grew out of it as I got older, though...it's amazing how stuff you loved as a kid starts to taste like cardboard after a while, haha.

...yet I still prefer kid's strawberry yoghurts; normal ones are often quite sharp and leave a nasty aftertaste. Which is unforgivable, because strawberries are the most amazing fruit ever.

I'll take your word for it, I've never been in that unenviable situation and have no immediate plans to, haha. I doubt there are many around here that are open 24/7 anyway...

Five Guys is probably one of the greatest burger joints ever. They make your burger super fresh, albeit pricey, but all worth it. You can actually customize it to add mushrooms, A1 Sauce, even more.

I squeed a little when Lisia mentioned Whataburger. While I miss my In-N-Out, Whataburger pretty much took over as my favorite.

The key to McDonald's is to find one where the workers actually care about making the food look like the pictures. Nothing worse than undercooked oily fries.

The worst thing for me about a bad McDonald's is when they don't put the fish fillet patty on the bun evenly. I'd get a Fillet o' Fish where the patty is halfway out of the bun, but I can't push it back in because the cheese has glued it in place. So I get a sandwich where there's an uneven fish-to-bun ratio in every other bite.

Also, I took a few days' break from this thread and come back to find that--once again--we're talking about food.
