A nice easy watch of an episode, I enjoyed Discord in this episode as he was slightly less of a jerk than he has previously been. Twilight as her over worried self was fun to. Loved Pinkies Back to the future nod.
So all the mane six and Discord are now properly friends rather than just Discord and Fluttershy.

Party For Feeling Discord Keen

If Feeling Pinkie Keen and Party For One had a baby, then this episode would be that baby. Twilight Sparkle tries to find a scientific explanation on how did Discord and her five friends bonded during the past weekend, as she slowly becomes more paranoid as the episode drags on. Once again, Discord is still a master troll, purposely not inviting Twilight over the weekend, just so she could learn the moral of the episode. The Bob Ross reference made me laugh so hard, considering that Twitching was having a marathon of his show this week. Of course, that would require to sacrifice airing this episode on Back to the Future Day because of the BttF reference.

I was hoping we would get a Twilight and Fluttershy episode regarding the cutie map, since we've already got a Pinkie and Rainbow Dash episode and an Applejack and Rarity episode. Some people think the moral of this episode regarding a family feud isn't helpful for other feuds going on in the real world, but keep in mind that the world of Equestria is far different than our world, for there's less political involvement. Besides, the two neighboring families aren't powerful governments. Needless to say, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned how this episode is basically TF2 in a nutshell, even the reason why the two families fought is similar to the backstory of the game.

Attack of the Trojan Cake

An ok episode but nothing special (I enjoyed last weeks much more). Interesting how its vaguely based on the real life Hatfield McCoy family feud from after the 19th century.
I don't think Twilight and Fluttershy are really a very fun pairing. They don't really contrast each other like other parings often do, as they are both the more rational of the mane six, and I cant help but think the episode would have been better with the other 4 mane six who would have probably had more crazy solutions.
However Fluttershy was really cute in the episode especially when she she kept going "and am Fluttershy and am...just here"

AJ Goes GaGa

Or RaRa to put it more accurately. This is the last episode written by Amy Keaton Rogers before her departure, so of course she's has to end her episode on a high note, and it paid off. Is it just me, or did RaRa's manager sound more like Mr. Garrison from South Park? Then again, they're both pretty rude characters, except the latter is more likable than the former. Anyone feeling jealous about not being friends with pop star before he or she became famous?

Oh, and a trailer for the season finale is out.

I liked the episode, but it wasn't amongst the best of the season. I liked how Apple Jack is totally ignorant to popular culture.
I actually prefered Rara's original costume and music style to how she ended up in the end, The theatrical pop track was a lot better than the generic Piano song she changed to.
I suppose you would class this as a musical episode but I think I would have rather had a mane six singing episode to be honest.
Finally a lot of people are saying they didn't like how Rara's manger didn't get his comeuppance but I have to disagree, to many times in mlp the villains are reformed or defeated so its a nice change that they let one get away with it, but to be honest his career is most likely ruined after the broadcast of his conversation with Rara and Equestrias biggest musicstar off his books.

The Fluttershy Effect

Starlight Glimmer's back, and she's out for revenge by altering the past, but little did she know that every time she changes the past, the future becomes a post-apocalyptic world ruled by a past villain: King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis, Nightmare Moon, Lord Tirek, Discord, and the Flim Flam Brothers? Eventually the future becomes nothing more than a mere wasteland. So yeah, I'm happy that it wasn't a time travel episode involving Twilight trying to regain her bonds from her friends within said altered future that Starlight created. Twilight realizes that she can't stop Starlight's doing, so the best solution was to reform her, much like most villains. I was wondering when was there going to be a song sequence like every season finale, and we did, near the very end of the episode, featuring all of our favorite secondary and background ponies. I'm predicting that the Season Six premiere will involve Cadence and Shining Armor's baby.

Pony Wars

That was freaking Epic. I totally loved the alternate futures, loved how Dark they were and I think the Sombra and Nightmare moon ones would have been great shows in their own right. The Flim Flam reality as them as presumably being a capitalism monopoly was funny. Would have liked to have seem maybe a corrupt Celestia or Evil mane six member one though (Evil Applejack starting a civil war or something to match the how Applejack won the war fanwork would have been great).
Some really amazing costume designs and concepts for the many soldier ponies.
Maybe it would have been better if Starlight would have been killed or incarcerated rather than reformed as the reformed villain act is getting a bit old in the teeth.
Finally I have to say that the best Twilight story ever.

If she doesn't, and if you don't feel like creating a new club (which you certainly can) I guess this thread can just keep existing as a MLP discussion thread with no real club agenda c:

Good thing you're part of a very small minority because a lot of fans really love Trixie, as well as Starlight and Discord (they even get excited about a new Discord episode). No need to be such a party pooper for everypony else.
