    Back when my dad was married to evil step mother there was a tradition of receiving a gift oj V-day. And a special breakfast maybe. And cinnamon rolls as dessert.

    I liked the present because it could be anything.
    Tge rolls were homemade icijg and glazed.

    What would you do or did? And what did you like most about it?
     
    Valentine's Day? What's that? I've heard of Single Awareness Day, though. Been partying hard on that day every year. (y)

    Aha, okay, to answer the question a little more seriously, well, I did sorta have plans for this year's Valentine's Day before my girlfriend and I broke up. Was planning on getting her a Build a Bear (shut up about cliches) and would've taken her out to eat somewhere, on me. Taken her home afterwards, and yeah. But none of that is happening now.

    What is this Valentine's Day you speak of? What is a Valentine? What does "receiving chocolate" means?

    So yeah, I've never really celebrated V-Day. Single ftw though!
     
    Valentines day has always been a day of perpetual sadness for me. Maybe one year I'll have someone to spend it with, but for now, it's just another day.

    Free candy in elementary school was kinda cool, though.
     
    Haven't celebrated Valentines Day in six years. Was hoping to snag someone this year but apparently that never happened. Guess that makes it another year of being single and watching sad romance movies. ;;
     
    I've never really had a Valentines. I don't know, every year in high school people were always doing special things for it in clubs & stuff. I've sent out plenty of candies & flowers to girls as gifts, but other than that, I never really did anything special for Valentines. I don't plan on doing anything this year. Maybe next year it'll be the best one yet, who knows?
     
    For me its everlasting void of sorrow. This would be another marker for the pit.
     
    For me it's mostly been "first merchandising day of the year" and "single persons pride day" but now I'm in an LDR. What I do this year ultimately depends on whether I have the day off or not (I have the smallest chance of getting it off.)
     
    The only thing I've done on Valentine's Day was give my classmates cards with cheesy sayings on them and that ended in like 6th or 7th grade. Now I'm single everyday. .-.
     
    I've normally been alone on Valentine's day, but this year, I finally have a Valentine! (:.
    I plan on taking her out to eat and getting her a promise ring which is like a pre-engagement ring. It's really to show that you're serious and all that, so yeah (:. I'm pretty excited.
