Completed it as well. Should be the final Alpha Pokemon required. Took a little over a year to do it all as a tag-team. (Started on Overqwil on September 10, 2023.)

...Now what? Is not really working towards any goal in particular, other than the Evolutionary Stubbornness challenge. Do you want to do some Mega or GMax Pokemon? Maybe a Pokemon not owned by either person? Could also tag-team with other people for the first time over in a year. What are your thoughts?

I'm not sure who's even available for a tag team atm tbh xD
I don't currently have any Mega stones or G-max candies. Still need to fix my points at some point so I can buy stuff at the Mart. Been putting it off for a long time now due to doing other stuff.

I'm currently focused on the Rivals challenges myself and there's several that are in season that we both don't seem to have (I used search this page with their names in your stats thread):
Incineroar, Honchkrow, Zoroark, Mabosstiff. There's also Porygon-Z & Greedent that will be in season next season. Though for Incineroar and Porygon-Z you do seem to have a previous stage.

Does either Honchkrow, Zoroark or Mabosstiff as a seasonal Dark type strike your interest?
Could slap on a Tera if you want, might make Mabosstiff/Zoroark more appealing. Dunno if you're close to Platinum on any types aside from Psychic.

Actually just requested a Zoroark as a prize. Would be fine with Mabosstiff or Honchkrow. Leans towards making it an Alpha over Tera. Cuts the post cost by 30, relative to Tera tag-teams. Earns more VPPs that way. Is not close to any Platinum medals either (closest: Water at 38).

Hi! Sorry if this is all fairly obvious, but I've obtained my Pokemon. What next? Am I supposed to make a thread for my adventure/Pokemon? Are there rules or a guide for what you do after obtaining a Pokemon?

Considers it a good idea to make a thread for your Pokemon, but not required. Becomes harder to remember everything after, say, three months and a few Pokemon. Could just copy/paste the stat block of your Clefable, your point total, and your ribbon in the thread. Suffices. Adds more to that easily enough, as needed.

After that? Just post around the forums. Increases your post count by posting in any section, including Forum Games and Pokemon Trivia. (Note: Cannot increase your post count with profile posts or conversations.)

Oh, and do not worry about having to come back here hatch your Pokemon or evolve them. Writes that in your stats purely for flavor. Evolves whenever you think it should. Only cares about when your Pokemon hits level 100, mechanically-speaking.
 
I'm just wondering... when raising a Pair/Trio; do you need to fully evolve them? Or is it only what is listed?
Because the list has both:
-only full evolved mentions (For example 'Butterfree & Beedrill', but not 'Caterpie & Weedle')
-as well as NFE mentions ('Vulpix & Alolan Vulpix', but not 'Ninetales & Alolan Ninetales').

I also see multiple mons in the list that only have a regional form when fully evolved, for example: "Rowlet & Hisuian Rowlet".
Rowlet/Dartrix have no Hisuian form normally, but perhaps it's a special form just for VPP ? In which case... what would it's type be? Grass/Fighting for the entire line, because it's what Hisuian Decidueye is?


I'm interested in raising some of them as NFE's once I'm done with the Rivals and Team Rocket challenges, if possible. ( Nidoran Male & Nidoran Female for example, which I'd prefer to not fully evolve due to already having Nidoking & Nidoqueen).

Could be just Blaze Breed and Aqua Breed as a duo or have the normal Pure fighting one added in as well for a trio. Kanto Tauros already seems to have a pair or otherwise it could be 2 pairs I guess.

And for the fossil mons Archen/Archeops and Tirtouga/Carracosta seem to have gotten skipped as a pair, the other fossil pairs up to gen 6 are there =O

Offers the pairs/trios exactly as listed. Cannot raise earlier or later forms of those Pokemon.

Changed the Hisuian Pokemon that were wrong. (Probably wrote them in as preparation for Legends: Arceus, as a guess.) The updated pairs:
  • Johto Typhlosion & Hisuian Typhlosion
  • Unovan Braviary & Hisuian Braviary
  • Alolan Decidueye & Hisuian Decidueye
  • Unovan Samurott & Hisuian Samurott

Added Blaze & Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros and Tirtouga & Archen as new pairs with conditions.

Reorganized the list too, if it looks a little different. Separated the pairs and trios more visibly. Ordered it by National Dex number too (based on the earliest in the group). Should be a little less chaotic now. Comes with a downside of splitting up some similar Pokemon, like those eeveelution pairs and trios.

Allows you to have a solo VPP active and a second VPP in a tag-team with someone else. May start a tag-team with someone else at any time. Must both agree on the Pokemon to raise and not be in an active tag-team. Raises a standard VPP with no discounts in 200 posts for both of you individually. (Drops to 185 if it is seasonal for both of you. Falls to 170 posts if both of you are in the relevant club.)

Permits images in your Post Flair with Supporter rank. Requires 500 posts for Supporter rank. (Requests that here, for the record.)

Should be able to add images and text to your signature without Supporter rank.

Edit: Remembered an event involving post flairs. Might help a little, if you are completely lost on how to use post flairs at all. Will copy/paste it, rather than link it. Might force you into a quiz by linking it. Removed a lot of the formatting because of quote not being available. Should be readable still.
Dress to Impress!

There are so many ways to personalize your appearance on PC, and we all do it so differently all the time! But villains of the Pokémon universe tend to wear uniforms, don't they? And, well, I suppose Olympians do too. And we're both, for the next two weeks! So let's proudly show off those team colors!

To facilitate this collaboration, I've put together a style guide for each team. It's very easy and very loose- you have a lot of freedom to design even within the parameters. You'll have until Friday, July 19 at 9pm to style yourself and post in this thread with your new look! If you then keep this style through the end of the GT- that is, through July 28- you will earn 5 points for your team!




Aqua Style Guide

Avatar: border-radius: 50%;
Username: font-family: Berkshire Swash;
other flair boxes: use any sans-serif font (this is Arial!)

For your designs, prominently feature at least two of these colors:
#002654 #0275AF #D9DDE9
If you use a signature, align it to the right and use fonts Berkshire Swash and/or any sans-serif font (this is Tahoma)! User Arcaneum has come up with a good method for aligning- make sure you set a width for your div, then use margin-left:auto; margin-right:0; and you should be good!



Magma Style Guide

Avatar: border-radius: 10%;
Username: font-family: Audiowide;
other flair boxes: use any serif font (this is Book Antiqua!)

For your designs, prominently feature at least two of these colors:

If you use a signature, center it and and use fonts Audiowide and/or any serif font (this is Georgia)! If you're having trouble with centering, use margin:auto; as part of your div!
