Waves. Recommends reading at least the rules and obtain pages of The VPP Rules & Guide thread. Covers the main stuff you need to know from the outset. Other than that? Have fun. Any advice for a new user looking to raise some virtual pokemon of my own? Also do posts in other parts of the forum count toward post totals, or is it just VPP posts?
Thanks for the advice and recommendations. I've already read the rules and guide, glad to hear I found all the basics. I'll give those subforums a look :DWaves. Counts any post that increases your post count, not just in the VPP subforum. Suggests looking at the threads of a subforum that interests you. Likely posts there more than somewhere else. Should get you up to the 10 posts you need to request your first VPP quickly enough. Some possible subforums of interest:
- Pokemon Gaming Central. Covers the games as a whole, as well as spinoffs.
- Previous Generations (Generations 1-7), Pokemon Switch Games, Legends Z-A, or Pokemon Scarlet/Violet for threads about specific games.
- Pokemon Anime
- Pokemon General, for anything else Pokemon-related. Includes a pretty straightforward Favorite Pokemon thread.
- Forum Games (not Pokemon-focused) or Pokemon Trivia (Pokemon-focused). Offers a number of threads to regularly reply to.
Occasionally needs a specific Pokemon for a challenge, such as the Baby Shower challenges, which only accept baby Pokemon. (Normally allows you to use something like Arbok for a challenge that calls for Ekans, for the record.) Offers a ribbon for owning ten not-fully-evolved Pokemon too. Other than that? No advantage. Takes the same number of posts to raise. Mainly exists for people who like a certain evolutionary stage. (Example: Prefers Torracat over Incineroar.)Ay, got the 10 post requirement already! I noticed the request form includes whether or not you're fully evolving the pokemon. Is there any advantage in not evolving in VPP?

1. Needs to obtain ten Pokemon between for each.I wanted to ask couple of question.
1. Since my last legendary was Zacian-C and Master Pokemon was Mamoswine, hence since then how much more Pokemon I need to ask for these Pokemon ?
2. Since I got my first tag-team Pokemon with @_confused_piplup_ , hence will not be there a ribbon for it, as I guess I had seen something related to it in rules page, but am not so sure ?
Completed it also. Do you want to raise Alpha Crobat next?Finished my half of Alpha Electivire btw =3

Posted in the Obtain thread.Sure, works for me.
Not sure atm what else on Kleavor's list I don't yet have... aside from Kricketune.
New to VPP.
Are you required to obtain a rainbow stone before selecting a Pokemon? How many Pokemon are you allowed to start with?
Thank you! I just requested my first VPP. That's good to know. I had to reread the guide several times to make sure I'm doing things right. LOLWelcome to VPP!
You will need to raise Pokémon to get points to buy a rainbow stone. They cost 600 points in the VPP mart 😊
Yes there's a lot to take in - we are working on making things easier - but once you get up and running hopefully everything will make sense!Thank you! I just requested my first VPP. That's good to know. I had to reread the guide several times to make sure I'm doing things right. LOL
Picks whatever form you want when requesting it in the Obtain thread. May say it somewhere above/below the form, or just say so in the form itself. Would accept something like this:Okay here is another question -- how would an Eevee work in VPP? Do you choose the evolution once it reaches 100?
