can you give me a simple example line off css that i can put in "Hello my name is"

For something like a signature or post? Would not call this simple, but:

Hello my name is

In plain text:

[cd="border-width: 1em; border-style: solid; border-color: #000000; max-width:75%; margin: auto; padding: 3%; background-color: #ffffff; font-family:Audiowide;"][color="Black"]Hello my name is[/color]
[/cd]

Quick explanations of everything:
  • border-width: The size of the border. Could use px (short for pixel) instead of em (2 em = twice size of font) for smaller amounts. Mentions using border-radius instead of border-width for rounded corners.
  • border-style: Style of border. Knows of solid, dashed, and dotted.
  • border-color: The color of the border with its hexadecimal color. Recommends Googling for a hexadecimal color finder. Some quick examples: #000000 for black, #ffffff for white, #117d0e for green.
  • padding: Adds some space between the border and the stuff inside.
  • max-width and margin: auto: Keeps it looking decent on multiple computer displays...probably.
  • background-color: The background of the stuff inside. Heavily recommends using a background (of some color) due to some forum themes being white and others black. Provides a standard base to put your font on.
  • font-family: Changes the style of font. Chose one that was noticeable here.
  • color: Standard BB code useable anywhere. Heavily recommends using this in CSS stuff too. Uses white or black font by default, depending on your forum theme. May not show up for some people if you do not account for this.

Is not an expert at CSS in the slightest, though. Mostly repurposes CSS that others do.

Its still running into problem's do you have to have a certain number of post score

Ought to work with any post count. Quoted the post fine, after all. Try posting what you have here.

Also, for something like post flairs, try this in "Statistics" field:
font-family: Audiowide;

Edit: Forgot about bits of text you can write that do appear in your post flair, such as a custom title and location. Go into your Account Details for that. (May not be what you wanted earlier, though. Just wanted to point it out.) Presumably still goes to Post Flair in your account to make it fancier.

Hi! Been a while since I said anything here. I have a question, I was rereading the rules/guide to refresh my memory on how VPP works and I noticed an example pokemon that's included in the guide was marked as being used for both a challenge and a legendary, does that mean I could use the Natu I'm raising towards both the shiny challenge and getting Lugia?

Challenges and Legendary requirements are a separate thing.

You can't use your Pokemon's typing for more than one Legendary requirement but you can absolutely use that Pokemon for a challenge as well!

You can't use your Pokemon for more than one challenge though, so if you use it to finish a challenge, you will need to raise a different one for other challenges you wish to complete.

Bit complicated as it stands I know, but hopefully that helps 😊

Thank you so much! That helps a lot

I have questions relating to the reward for the delibird feathers from the archipelago event. The first post in the thread said we could exchange a feather for an ice/water vpp, does that mean whatever vpp we pick has to be both water and ice, or could we choose one that's one or the other? Also are there any restrictions on what pokemon we can't get? Such as no legendaries, nobles, etc?

Must be a Water or Ice type. Does not need to be Water/Ice.

Follows the standard reward Pokemon rules: no Legendaries/Ultra Beasts, Megas, Gigantamaxes, Alphas, Nobles, Terastal, or a Pair/Trio. Allows you to pick a Paradox Pokemon, provided it is not on the legendary list. (So, not the Paradox versions of the Johto roaming legendaries, Koraidon, or Miraidon.)

Thanks for the info, gonna think hard about this one

Finished the other half of Alpha Mabosstiff. Is there any Pokemon you want to raise? Has not decided on a new challenge to shoot for yet. If not, maybe the Alpha version of Carbink, Dachsbun, Granbull, or Komala? Noticed none of those in your stats.

I don't mind raising any of those, but Granbull is a part of one of the Team Rocket challenges so I guess I'd prefer to start with that one if possible. Dunno what challenges to use any of the others for yet atm.

Goes with Alpha Granbull, then. Will post in the Obtain thread momentarily.

Edit: Forgot to quote before. Might not have pinged you.

Anyone interested in doing a tag team with me? Been wanting to give that a try. I'm thinking of raising a Mr. Rime, though I'm open to raising a different ice or psychic type (I really want Lugia and articuno)

Fair warning, I'm still very new to VPP, so I don't currently have any items, meaning the chances of the pokemon being shiny in a tag team with me will be the non-rainbow stone rate and I can't do anything with prerequisites just yet

Completed the other half of Alpha Granbull. Is there anything you are aiming for? Sees Alpha Porygon-Z for Gladion's challenge, which is seasonal. Would be up for that (or something else too).

As a note: Scheduled a surgery on the 28th of January. Expects to be absent for a few days at minimum, but probably longer? A week? Shrugs. Never had an inpatient surgery before. Assumes nothing comes up to delay it, of course.
