    Basic Mechanics
    Please make sure you check out the new Virtual Pokémon Pet website where everything is all in one place!
    VPP Pokémon start out as an egg. They hatch after 15 posts are made.
    VPP Pokémon take a total of 175 posts to reach level 100.
    Once a VPP Pokémon reaches level 100, it is sent to your Hall of Fame and you may raise a new VPP.
    Make a post here in the VPP Breeder Stats thread to keep track of your Pokémon, Items and Points.

    Rules
    No cheating, obviously.
    Don't copy/steal the VPP for your own or another forum.
    You may NOT calculate your own VPP numbers.
    No free VPPs based on your current post count.

    Joining
    To join and receive your very own VPP, just make a new post filling out the following form:

    Simply fill that out in a new post in this thread and you should be all set.

    First Steps
    After you have made a post in this thread with the completed form,
    please wait for me to calculate your post count.
    After you have been accepted, you are recommended to make a post in the
    VPP Breeder Stats thread to track your progress and record your completed VPPs.
    It's recommended to place a link to your stats post in your signature.
    In addition, you may choose to display your current VPP in your signature.

    VPP for Prizes
    Want to host an event and use VPP as prizes? Awesome. You can give away the following: Pokemon, Points, Items and/or All of the above. All you need to do is send me (Caite-chan) a PM with all the info and I can add your Event to the second post for ALL to see. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them.

    6/13/2018 - Here is the new and improved thread for VPP. I've added a few things since the old thread. And here I will update when things are added or changed.​

    6/15/2018 - I've added something I've been meaning to add and yet keep forgetting. You may now claim a Birthday gift Pokémon in VPP. Along with 100 points as well.​

    1/12/2019 - It's time to work together and raise a Pokémon together. It's a beta test for Community Pokémon.​

    8/11/2019 - You can now trade your Pokémon with your fellow Trainers.​

    I haven't got the faintest idea what I'm doing but this seems right up my street so I'll give it a shot. If I do something wrong just throw a pokeball at my head then berate me until I do it right.

    She's rewarding you with 100 points for having a link in your signature. Best not to argue and just accept the gift :t037: As for me... I have to update my link because it links to the old one -.- Also have to decide on what VPP to raise next but thankfully I got some time before I finish with Articuno.
     
    What's that in the horizon something new in VPP? Sure why not. :D

    Hmm interesting. Only question I have is whether the posts we do for the Community VPP also apply to the VPP we happen to be raising at any given time? For me, that'd be Articuno right now but it could be a different Pokémon when the time comes. Since you intend to do this for February, I'm thinking Alolan Vulpix(or A.Ninetales) would be optimal choices due to it being Winter in Northern Hemisphere.

    They would be because you would raising two different VPP at once just that one would take much longer depending on how long it takes everyone to finish their posts.

    So if you have 500 posts for Community and only 50 left for Articuno by the time you're done with Articuno you'd still need 450 for Community and you could pick your next VPP.
