That one damn assignment. That one thing that I missed. Damn it.

So...ever had something like say you forget a HW assignment or didn't turn it in? What happened afterward?

Sometimes, but not much. I usually know when things are due. If it's a small assignment I might finish it in another class, but if it's a big project then I have no chance and just tell the teacher, and turn it in during the week.

    A few years back, quite pathetically, I called my mom to get an assignment I forgot to bring to school. It wasn't even collected. :{

PSSH. GURL. I used to never do my math homework in 7th grade. Don't ask me how I even passed. XD I'm not so sure myself. Other classes though, I'd just do them...the class before they were due, yeah. That sounds about right.

Yes it has happened several times for different reasons, like I forgot it, couldn't find it, didn't feel like doing it(my whole 10th grade math class). Either I got time to make it up with a certain amount of point deduction for ever day I failed to turn it in or I just got a zero with the assignment and moved on.

Like ^, I also skipped a fair amount of my math work. Every. Single. Year. XD

    Well, until college, anyhoo.

I had a baaad habit of going "Oh, that was due? lolwhoops."

    Don't follow my example.

ALmost happened to me this semester in college, at a horrible time too.

I thought I had one more week to finish a drawing assignment, until I found out the mornign of our final, I had one DAY to complete what had to be done.

Needless to say, I cranked out a decent drawing in a matter of hours before needing to catch the bus.

I actually got a very decent grade on it too...

I have only, ever done that once in College.
I was so busy I forgot about one that was due in 2 days before I realised I had to hand it in! XD

Got it all done though :3

A few times for me but some part I blame the professors for messing up the days. It's always helpful to have a planner with you at all times. It's your best friend.

This doesn't happen very often for me actually. I tend to get everything in on time. When I don't, I would not get another opportunity to hand it in and take a zero for that assignment.

There was an Art assessment which I forgot about till the day, but I still got 100% for it in the 30min before school I did it in :D

It's actually happened to me a few times in school, but I can't think of any recent moments ATM. If that happens, I sometimes ask the teacher for an extension.

This happens to me a lot. But the most BS example is when I had to turn in some report to turnitin.com.

I was sick, hardly able to breathe for three weeks. I come back in on the last day the report was due. I haven't heard about it, she hasn't told me anything about it. I fail. WTF? That was a valuable project, too.

Yup, that happened a lot this year. I would just say something like "I've completed my homework, but my Cat saw it on the table..grabbed hold of it and ripped it up."
Especially when I use to do General Studies or Humanities.

    What happened afterward?
The Teacher just gave me extra time to complete it and hand it in.

I don't think I've done that since high school, lol, and I think I actually took the hit. If I didn't do something, I didn't get a grade.

I usually do my homework in time except for this one time two years ago where I thought I had a week left on my Design Tech Project and It was actually due in on that day. Good thing was the whole class thought the same thing and we managed to convince the teacher that it was due next week

This happens to everyone, I'm sure. No one's perfect.

Senioritis is kinda sorta setting in for me, so I've gotten a little forgetful about finding out the homework. Twice this school year I've walked into class and have been like "There was homework?" XD Both were in my Econ. class and the teacher actually rarely even looks at your homework, so I'm even more lazy on that. One of those 2 times, however, the teacher did actually collect it, but all I did was lose 10 points.

There have been other points in other grades where I would just completely forget about an assignment, or other times where I actually did forget a big project at home and had to call home to get it driven over. The teachers were cool with it, luckily. Being a good student is good because teachers are extremely chill with you if you screw up once.

I don't really forget things like that normally. It's more like I avoid them willingly. If that counts, then yeah...
