I could tell that shes going to be some sort of part in the villain team's evil plot with her very angry expression. I mean, I've seen some non-villanous characters in their concept art or promotional art having a mean looking face, but those were comically mean looking faces. Lillie's face is almost as if she was full of hate, anger, EDGE, and anguish. Its like she's not only tasted the rage, but has married it.

Calm down Lillie! We know that FemHero has the better neckline than she does, but she has some pretty nice legs.

Soon as I heard them say Lillie was "mysterious" I knew there was gunna be something so I started joking with my sister saying "shes gunna be the champion or bad guy team leader or just an elite 4 or grunt" but I find it a little funny my thoughts went to champion first while everyone else went to the bad team. :/

Ive heard comparisons to N and Yellow(from pokemon adventures) but I wonder how far her not liking battles will go. Doesnt like battles but will have a backstory of being a great battler? Thinks battling is inhumane and/or too violent? Doesnt know how to battle? Lying and wants to hide her evil-team-bad-guy-fightin-skills from Kukui?

Ive got nothing to say about that last bit about legs and necklines......

The SM female protagonist reminds me a lot of May for some reason, but I do love how her shirt has a flower pattern on it and her bag apparently looks like a watermelon slice. Kinda fitting for the region.

I dont care if theres new clothing options now Watermelon Bag is life Im content with just that.
The new characters are cute and Hau is precious so Im set lets go November! :3

The "mysterious" part is a pretty obvious hint she got at least something to do with the story line. She doesn't really look like a battler, I doubt she's the Champion. My bet is that she's either some sort of medium that can make contact with the legends or a right-hand girl of the evil team leader.

Lab coats have always been super redundant anyway. Like why would you even need them for giving out Pokémon or programming a PokéDex? Besides, if you wear it unbuttoned (like they always do), it's got no use anyway!

As a chemistry student this has always bothered me.

Going back to Alola as a whole for a second, I'm actually really excited to travel between all the islands. Whether it be surfing, flying, boat or, not likely but still, by bridge, I am gonna be pumped!

Does it seem like the protagonists are drawn by a different art designer, or is it just me?

Honestly, it is possible. They do look a little bit different than past protagonists but that could also be the designer is just evolving as well

You have walked into a realm where I'm talking about how attractive the S&M FemHero may be with her neckline area, and people are going to think that I'm being a creeper by saying it ;D

I mean, she's basically a mix of May and Hilda, but none of the glorious features that made the other two quite "memorable" but then again... I'm still playing as FemHero because sorry guys, malehero still looks so "plainish" to me. I get that there will be dressups but I'd be having more fun Dressing up our S&M Femhero if you know what i mean

aha not uncomfortable at all well everyone has their opinions i guess really. i play as female but still like most of the guys' outfits better. but they need something better on everyone, 6/10 not enough pink. Just a pink frilly dress and i will be good please gamefreak.

im trying to think why i play girl everytime if i like the guys better and all im coming up with is "because it feels awkward saying im a guy when im not". If thats my issue with it im done im gunna play rbgy/gs cause then i dont gotta choose. :'D Gold/Ethan outfits for all edit: i just realized my avatar is gold welp

Its called being genderlocked my dear. Because of the whole "I'm a guy so i must play a guy else people might think there's something wrong with me" thing still exists among today's youth and young adults -_- I remember some of my friends were wondering why I play as Serena and May respectively in their games and they were baffled at how much I enjoyed dressing up Serena while watching me play. I was like "What's wrong dudes" and they were like "we were not expecting someone like you to be that.. well.. you know" and I told them.. "Dude, I've been playing the female avatar in almost every game even back in Ragnarok Online and I'm still more of a man and a half than most of you 'trying-to-hard-to-be-overly masculine-boys are"

Then again, I do know some actual girls who do play the guys because they wanna dress up their little virtual hubby-wubby. That doesn't make them creepers right? I remember now now Ex when i let her play a pokemon game (Black and White 1 via emulator and on her laptop) and she picked the dude because she wanted to play as "me" and i was like "dawwwwwwww" and named it after me. But that was a few years ago, ever since we went our separate ways, i wonder if she's still playing her Unova adventure as little "Xin",.... who knows.

(and convincing someone like her being a "non gamer" to play a pokemon game was somewhat difficult but she wanted to do so anyway because she's more of that person who knows of Pokemon by the anime and outside merchs than the games)

Anyways does anyone else think the girl avatar for sun and moon looks alittle weird? Or is it just me? I mean i usually prefer the girls over the guys but the guy in this gen has a smoother and nicer design in my eyes

I can play as guy just it feels weird to say i am a guy, other than that i dont mind playing as them i meant. And thats really flipping adorable...

am i the only one who likes her hat glad im not that attatched to it cause dang ive only seen hate for it

Looking at her artwork once again, the girl avatar is now starting to look weird to me. As if the artist just had to draw her with a really large mouth. WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING AT ME FOR, GIRL AVATAR. I DIDNT DO ANYTHING!!? Sorry female avatar, while I'm still playing as you, you are no Serena. Serena was a lovely lovely avatar to be as.

The female protagonist's hat appears to look like a flower... fits with the flower pattern on her shirt. It's like she's the most floral female protagonist yet, so no wonder she's been associated with Rowlet as her starter.

What about the anime? Will they kick Serena to the curb and replace her with Ms. SunAndMoon? Or will she be a recurring character like Brock?
