And obviously the Pokemon anime producers will do something about that. Like basically let Serena be on her own, she would no longer want to be around Ash, and she be like "Bye jerk XP!" and when Ash goes to the Alola region, Ms. S&M be like "HEY SCUMBAG! I'M YOUR GIRL NOW, BUT YOU CAN'T TREAT ME LIKE A B**CH ELSE I'LL RIP YOUR HEAD OFF!"

Unless the anime producers follow what Gamefreak's doing where there's a sort of tradition breaking but I doubt that will ever happen.
 
I also prefer the Male protagonist more as well as it does just feel a bit more thought out and smoother of a design. Though that won't stop me from playing as both characters of course. I have no problem playing as the guy or girl. I used to, similar to Dyingwill but then I met some friends at college of all places who play as both genders and I realized it doesn't really matter.

I mean i liked everyone but the girl avatar. Maybe its her hat or maybe its how her shirt is huge on her xD dk but I liked the change in professors and such :3

I KNOW RIGHT WHY DOES SHE HAVE A FLAT CHEST THIS IS AN OUTRAGE JUST WHY DOES SHE HAVE A FLAT CHEST WHEN IN THE PAST 10+ YEARS ALL THE FEMALE PROTAGS DIDN'T HAVE THAT AND FUUUUU-Admittedly I do feel there will soon be a time I will grow on the female protag of this gen, but this was really a nasty letdown for me. I really wanted this gen to have a decent female protag, especially since the last good one was from BW1. It's not like I care, but it just means we have been having the same ol' shit for the past 4 years, with no true signs of improvement. I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I had to get it off my chest, I really wanted to have a good female character, but that wasn't the case, and looks like this game is more likely to be the same ol' thing like all the other games, and that ain't good, imo.

I confess, I like her hairstyle, but that is all. I'm on high hopes they will give us cool leaders or a cool villain to make up for all the humans revealed so far. My interest in Pokes is slowly running low, and as a result, this game will be important in a way it's gonna determine if I will still be a fan or give up. If turns out SM will be generic, cliche, or will just not be good, I will call quits. If it is good by any means, I will continue with the series. Maybe when I graduate, I will work with game developers and make characters, and prove the creators wrong.

Probably the main reason why I try my best to feel positive about Ms S&M's somehow flattering neckline, thanks to the shirt she's wearing but i actually wanted to say something about the protags going back several ages younger rather than a few years forward. -__-

in my continued attempt to look more closely with Ms. S&M, i noticed that she's wearing a rather long shirt that she actually ties up to almost her midrift because that shirt is baggy as heck if she didn't. I just noticed about it and at least she isn't baring her midrift completely.

Baring her midriff would have been creepy considering she looks younger than some recent female protagonists, but then again we had some of Serena's alternate clothing showing the midriff. SM girl's flowery shirt is cute though, and does remind me of what people in Hawaii would wear.

Honestly, I can't fathom why people continue to act as if the game protagonists are ten years old. That has never been a thing. Anime != games.
