There were indeed some great Ghost designs in Gen 5.

Jellicent had gender differences, very useful in battle and perhaps one of the scariest ever Pokedex entries.

Golurk is the Pokémon equivalent of the Iron Giant. Also his pre-evolution Golett was my first ever Shiny. :D

Speaking of Pokemon Black/White, I just beat it two days ago! It was the hardest Pokemon game I beaten (Well, the only other games I completed were X and Alpha Sapphire). Great plot, great evil organization. Can't wait to play the sequels!

Golett/Golurk has jumped up several tiers in my eyes ever since i started using it in X. So awesome

I also need to use Mandibuzz again. I miss the guy...

It's got a strong offense, a little slow but with its solid typing, it withstands most attacks and is a 3HKO whereas he doesn't need more than 2 hits to KO an opponent

I <3 Golurk hes pretty decent competitively and is great if you takeadvantage of its suckish speed and high attack :D

Psychic you can handle as long as you know one ghost type move since theres like no super effectiveness anymore which comeon guys i miss that! Grass knot is scary as heck though with a Golurk.

Golurk is a poke I'm really really interested in trying out, but so far I haven't been able to find one. I could've gotten it's preevo in route 10 for my 2nd X run but rather I got a Hawlucha, who I so happened to have just used in another playthrough at the time, and the fucker had the same nature as that said Hawlucha too.

DAMN YOU YOU FUCKING KARATE PARROT!!!

Golurk's design is a bit iffy to me lol. I like its Dex entry but hmm... Knowing the move Fly? XD

I caught both those Pokemon two minutes apart on Route 10. Good times...gooooooood timessssss

I also caught a Honedge, now a Doublade, but I don't know how I feel about it yet...

I always dread the really tall grass... that is why I hated some routes in Hoenn. It really needs to be gone in the next game because 6th Gen made it really hard to get around in it due to the grass completely concealing you.

I know that grass was pretty annoying qwq I did catch an Espurr there in my one and only Y playthrough though. ^^ Male Meowstic looks so cute whiel Female Meowstic looks so tough and scary... 3XD

I wouldn't mind the tall grass as much if random encounters got removed from the games. xD (But I'd still prefer tall grass over caves and water any day, hehe.)

Actually, Melody... you ARE the ghost! Congrats! xD I did some serious recounting, and the last "BOO" happened on Post #451 (on Page 19), and your previous post was #651. Subtract those numbers, and our lucky winner is you. :p

I can't blame anyone for getting confused though, because the counter got distorted many, MANY times on the way here. xD (Heck, the only reason I noticed something was wrong is because I remembered that the smallest digit of the counter was supposed to be one number less than the smallest digit of the thread's current post number.) :P

Anyways, I agree. It's so hard to see in it in 6th Gen, when I was on Route 6 in X/Y I just wanted to get that Espurr and go. Okay, I did get Honedge, Oddish and Sentret but that was enough once I got my female Espurr. I even avoided Route 16 because it's just as annoying, but thank god that place is entirely optional.
