Eye contact with a subtle nod, or a firm but swift handshake if I am meeting the person for the first time.

Probably just "hey" (?). If it's the first time, I usually just wait until I know what they want to do (hug [yuck], handshake, whatever)

it really depends on the person @_@ for the bf i call his nickname, for friends at my last job i'd call them by their names and follow it up with hi/hey or something

i don't think i have a more used way of greeting someone, it really does vary

If it's someone for the first time, usually a "hello" and introduce myself. If friends and such, also "hello" but it can also be "hi" or "good morning/evening".
