In games we found many types of Weather like Sandstorm, Rain etc. What is your Favorite type of Weather? Why do you like that Particular Weather? and which one do you dislike? Why? Discuss

I really like the Rain Weather because of its makes the gameplay more beautiful and most importantly it improves my water type Pokemon Power and decreases the Fire type Power. I dislike Sandstorm weather because it is really annoying and damage my Pokemon health.

My favourite type of Weather in Pokemon is definitely Rain. One reason is because Rain is actually my favourite weather in real life as well, as it's very calming and theraputic to sit, under an umbrella, and watch. Also, I love building Rain teams because they're always really fun to use, imo.
My least favourite is definitely Sandstorm. I have just never really enjoyed Sandstorms in Pokemon, they're just really annoying. Plus Sandstorm teams are incredibly annoying.

Rain is probably my favorite as many of the Pokemon I use benefit from it. As a kid, I also loved sunny weather and not having to charge up solar beam, which I used to teach all my fire-types during that time. A fire-type with a grass-type move was pretty cool.

As a fan of Water-type Pokemon, it is no surprise that I love the rain. It buffs up so much from the moves to certain abilities, in fact it's no wonder why rain was so common during the 5th Gen weather wars metagame.

I like Sandstorm. I usually tend to have a lot of Pokemon that are unaffected by Sandstorm on my team, so it usually works out pretty nicely. Despite Hail being similar, I've never been a big fan of it, since only Ice types benefit from it, and having a team full of Ice types is just asking for trouble.

I don't think I've actually ever deliberately instigated Weather in battles. I know I'm probably missing out strategy wise but I just find them annoying and they slow things down. Look and sound wise though, Rain is the best!

I'll admit I never use any of them as much as I should. I love the idea of a Rain Dance team, I just hate the idea of having to use Rain Dance every five turns. I adore the idea of Sunlight because of its unique bonus that lets Solar Beam be used instantly, but... I'm also a tad bitter to it because Ninetales got Drought and FINALLY became useful... only to have Drought nerfed the very next generation and make it useless again.

I dislike Hail and Sandstorm, if only because there are two many areas that have them in constant use. I love the idea of using them, though, and have always wanted to make a Sandstorm team or a Hail team.

I like using Sunny Day because it helps out my Grass and Fire types. I also from time to time use Rain Dance with a Water-based team too. Weather is a fun feature in and out of battle.

I don't have a specific favorite type of weather.

When it's raining, I use water Pokemon. When it's sunny, fire. Etc.

But if i really had to choose one, it would be Hail. I dunno, I love ice ^^

I don't really mind weather since I rarely if ever use it. But Sandstorm or Hail can get annoying after a while.

In real life I love windy days when the winds are strong enough to lift my hair (but no rain please!). So maybe Strong winds is my favourite weather?

Weather made its debut in Generation II games, it is highlighted in Generation III followed by the succeeding generation. through overworld weather and as well as those Pokémon with Ability to alter the weather conditions like Kyogre, Groudon, Tyranitar and later joined by the Abomasnow line in Gen IV.

I'm a fan of them, whether its battle or overworld. I love rain the most, as it helps a lot my favorite Water-type Pokémon! Ludicolo is a boss under rainfall.

Sunshine can be a little tricky to play with for those with Chlorophyll and Solar Power as their Abilities, nevertheless this weather condition speeds up my Vileplume and gives her a maximized access to Solarbeam and Synthesis.

Sand Storm is the one that I rarely use, I'm aware that it boost the Special Defense of Rock-type Pokémon, Since I rarely use Rock-types, this weather isn't as appealing as the others.

Hail is an interesting one to use. Unless you're good with Pokémon, precautionary is needed if you're using a Hail team. :) Abomasnow is one of those who can truly benefit with this weather by spamming Blizzard.

Natural weather is always annoying, because there's always a few Pokémon in your team that lose part of their power. I remember the rain routes in Hoenn, on which all the trainers use grass and bug Pokémon, but fire Pokémon won't help as much, because they got nerfed by the weather. Fire Pokémon were really hard to train in that part of the game and they get underlevelled pretty quickly.
Using weather in battles summoned by moves or abilities is fine. I like that addition. My favorite is rain, boosting Pokémon with Swift Swim's speed and water type attacks.

I agree so much about weather being nerfed ;-; Weather used to be a lot more fun when Drought/Drizzle/Sand Stream/Snow Warning were permanent. Now the whole concept of a team built around a weather condition is gone. Sometimes it helps though to use the hold items that extend the weather for three extra turns.

I don't even really get why they nerfed it. I understand with certain combinations it can be devastating, but there's always ways around it and it's not nearly as overpowered as some other things they've never nerfed.

Maybe if they gave us a new ability that ignored the nerf and gave us weather how it use to be, but only a few lower ranking Pokemon like Ninetales could get it.

Because Politoed and its team mates like Kingdra and Ludicolo are running among the competitive scene and it creates too much imbalance, those words are coming from a person who loves Water-type and Rain conditions in the games. :(

Ninetales on the other hand can get insane with the likes of Chlorophyll Vileplume and HA Venusaur.

While the nerfs are understandable, I still prefer the Gen V ways. Pokémon with Swift Swim, Rain Dish, Chlorophyll, etc saw the light again when their fellow Drizzletoed and Droughtales, who were also collecting dusts, broke the mold for them.

I like the rain the best! It's fun utilizing swift swim and powering through teams with that. Also rain castform is adorable :3

While I don't use weather conditions all that much, I think rain is the one I tend to get the most use out of. If you have good Water or Electric-type Pokémon, then you can make good use of STAB attacks on the former or Thunder on the latter. Sometimes I do get to take advantage of Sunny Day with Fire-types, even moreso with most of them getting SolarBeam in Generation IV.
