this album is finally growing on me after all these years. it definitely helps to listen to Chronic Town first, which is a much more concise, punkier way in to their sound which is weirdly cold and offputting at first for no apparent reason. so that's probably what helped me.

"Discovery" is their best album. I really don't care much for "Random Access Memories" but I understand the appeal. It just doesn't sound like Daft Punk, in my opinion.
