"The Blankets Were the Stairs" ~ Sunny Day Real Estate

the one criticism I can level against Diary is its weak middle stretch. Tracks 1-3 and 9-11 are some of the best emo you can get though.

Me against the World - 2Pac. Some oldschool Rap to chill out after work

The Naked And Famous - Punching In A Dream

This song is so fun and The Naked and Famous are extraordinary band. Alisa Xayalith, their singer , is an amazing vocalists.

Snakadaktal - Hung On Tight

One of my favourite new acts from 2013. It's a real pity this five-piece dream-indie act is separating not long after their debut album.... They'll be greatly missed by me. ;__;

Memphis May Fire - Sleepless Nights

Tell me, is there something that I'm learning from this?
I try my best to make the most of it
Maybe I just need to see the bigger picture
Show me how it ends!

If I have to feel this forever
I'd rather feel nothing at all

Bring me back to life
I just can't take another sleepless night
Bring me back to life
Give me the clarity to see the light!

Religious metal, you have my respect.

Just listened to 'Fake Your Death' by My Chemical Romance, their last song. It's really funny, but the song left me feeling the way you do when you part with an old friend, your paths finally diverging. You're slightly sad, but you know that they'll be fine, and determination towards your own future leaves you strangely excited. I'm probably reading way too much into it. cx

Anyway, right now I'm listening to:

Pop Evil - Trenches

"I've waited all my life to get out of the trenches
I'm ready to fight for what I believe you can steal from me
I won't take this
Gonna fill these trenches and stand up

Wake up, I won't give up
'Cause here I come, here I come"

That guitar. <3

Outkast - Roses

Some old-school stuff from these guys, but still I'll never like their music again after the overplayed crap they had that was Hey Ya!.
aww man you don't like Hey Ya! ? that's one of the best pop songs of the last 15 years!!

"Unravel" ~ Björk

the first four songs on this album are really strong, and then so is the last track but other than that I can take or leave the rest of it.

1 Trillion Dollar$ by Anti-Flag

Musically, it may be one of their lighter more poppier songs, but lyrically one of their most powerful and blunt.

My favorite song.

"Pap Smear" ~ Crystal Castles

I can dig this, I suppose... nothing SPECTACULAR or anything but this is solid.

"Happy" by Pharrell Williams.
I may be slightly addicted to this song, but I can't help it! It's too catchy~
