So we've been playing many of the franchise's games over the years growing up,with many games being very fun to play! And then there are the games that we didn't think too much of, or didn't find rather fun to play at all.

That being said, what do you think is your least favourite game in the Pokemon franchise? What made it less likable to play? Just remember that this includes any spinoff games!

This is a pretty tough one, cause I love pretty much every Pokemon game, but I didn't enjoy Yellow as much as the other games. The first time I played Yellow was on the VC, and didn't have any nostalgic attachment to the game - which I think is important - which made playing through this tedious game kinda laborious tbh, and by Victory Road I was forcing myself to finish it :/

I actually never fond of pokemon games put into mircotransactions like shuffle or rumble world. It just milking your money scheme that got gamefreak mind

I've always loved the main series games during the time of which they were released. Each gen felt different to the previous and that made it hard to pick out a standout one that I dislike. I guess looking back the ones that I can say I least enjoyed out of them all were the ones that took place in Kanto. RBY particularly for being dated, but FRLG also didn't really compare to the likes of HGSS or ORAS. They were good games but in comparison to some of the much stronger ones, they're quite lower down on my list.

Honestly, probably Black & White 1. For some reason I could not stand the friends or the antagonists, nor the map. It was the game that made me not play Black & White 2 for a long time, which was the first "main series titles" that I skipped. I finally went back and played 2, and it was great, but yeah, BW1 were a bit rough to me, personally.

I don't hate any of the games, but My Pokémon Ranch was the most boring.

I love all pokemon games, but my least favorite has to be XY.

I found the story to be bland and rushed, there was also barely any new pokemon introduced ( I don't count megas). Also the game was incredibly easy with the broken exp share.

Pokemon X and Y are the worst Pokemon games I ever played. I just can't stand it.

My least favourite main series games are Red and Blue. I know they're the first ever Pokemon games, but they haven't aged well, some of the Pokemon sprites look ugly or not how they're supposed to, organising the PC boxes is a faff and lets not forget moves like Wrap. I like Yellow a bit better with the improved sprites, references to the anime, less glitches and the ability to get every starter without trading. If I played the Gen 1 games as a kid when they first came out and I had any nostalgic value for them, I'd probably like them more.

My least favourite spinoff game is either Trozei or Shuffle. I'm just not a fan of those kind of puzzle games.

If spin-offs are counted, Pokémon Shuffle is one for me. Even though initially I enjoyed it as different twist of Trozei, sadly it becomes too much for me over time, to the point that this caused hand cramps which caused me to be inactive in here for days at some point and not touching my 3DS XL for months...

(Yeah, I'm not making this up, and it's around 2 years ago when that happened, even though I didn't tell which game that caused it that time.)

I actually really enjoy all the gamefreak pokemon games and cannot say that there is one that I don't think is a good game but out out all of them the one that I would say is my least favorite would be omega ruby or alpha sapphire. Again I really like all the gamefreak games but those two really didn't give me as great of a experience playing them as the others.

Haha, I actually really enjoyed Gen I's graphics when I played them for the first time a while ago. The sprites just made me laugh. I expected for it to be super hard to get into because of the outdated appearance, but once I got immersed in the gameplay it was actually easy to ignore.

Still, to each their own. And I agree that the games are super broken when it comes to mechanics, lmao. It's actually amazing how much is wrong with Gen I's battle system.

Okay I might receive some hate here...

Diamond and Pearl. I can't replay it. Only played like twice... And I hate the feeling of not loving it, because the Pokemon are great, the characters are great, the Anime is great, everything is great for this generation, except the games... but that's only my opinion.

*This is for the main games only, and no remakes.

XY. I got both games and struggled through X so much that I only progressed to the first gym on Y so I could trade between the two.

Same thing sort of happened on SM...except I'm having loads of fun, making my own little quests on Sun with all the stuff available (more languages for Pokedex, UB, trainer passport badges, aprimons) that Moon has sort of taken a back seat, but I still want to play it from time to time.

But yeah, XY for me. So boring. Characters basically are there to exist, story is promising but lacking in execution and I've never like Mega fanservice.

Main series wise, dude none. When it comes to new Pokémon designs I'd definitely say DPPt, but as a game I absolutely loved them and spent hundreds of hours playing through my versions. Even got a copy of Japanese Pearl since I didn't want to wait 6+ months for localization.

I mean... ugh. RBY had the nostalgia factor and is massively fun to replay. GSC had the best new Pokémon designs and were one of the funnest to play. Hoenn and Unova were my all-time favorite regions so I'd never put those games last, and the others I also adored for their own reasons.

It's tough even with spinoffs. I haven't played many so I can't judge most of them, but I got frustrated with Rumble World quickly since I kept replaying the same few maps, hoping the Pokémon I needed spawned + praying RNG left me lucky enough to catch it. It was so fun at first but boy did it get exhausting. The others I tried out were Conquest, Gates to Infinity, and a few others, most of which I really did enjoy. If mobile counts, Shuffle would also be pretty low because of how impossible it gets to beat later levels without spending.
