What languages do you know?

English (well duuur)
Spainish (I'm kinda losing it, though)
Japanese (self-teaching|only the talking)

I know bits of other languages, but those are the three main ones.

Well, other than English, I'm fluent in speaking Mandarin Chinese (we speak it natively at home; my parents are always talking about how so many other Asian immigrants' children only speak English at home), but not so keen on writing the characters. I can understand most Japanese (to a certain point, at least), and I think I'm better at reading Japanese than I am at Chinese. I mean, I can translate Japanese manga but I can't read a Chinese picture book. o_O

And I picked up a miniscule amount of French in Canada. It's not enough to, say, hold a conversation, but I just use it to taunt my friends when Japanese gets old. =p

I'm fluent in English and I'm currently studying French in school. I know a handful of words in Japanese and Thai, and I can understand Tagalog. I was born and raised in the Philippines for half my life, but since we moved out, my ability to speak Tagalog has, er, decreased. Now, I can't say a word of Tagalog without sounding weird.

I speak fluent Dutch (well, Flemish, but that's the version of Dutch they speak in the northern part of Belgium-where I live- which is practically the same language as the one from our northern neighbours. It only differs in a few region-bound words).
I can write/speak English very well. I've been studying it for 5 years now, but before that I got a small base from asking my mom what this or that meant in the Pokemon games. =P
I can also speak/write French, since it's our country's second language, we have to study it. I have been studying since I was 10.
Also, in secondary school, I've been studying Latin. I can translate from Latin to Dutch and understand what it means, but it's harder to translate from Dutch to Latin, since we do not have to be able to do that.
And I also now German. It's our countries third language. ._." talking about a multi-lingual country Not so fluent as French or English, though...

I also know a few words of Italian (it's very close to Latin) and very few of Japanese (basic anime vocab <_<"). I would like to study both languages and get to know more of them.

I can only speak English, however I can read Spanish, French, and Italian enough to understand the basic idea of what it is.

I can speak Engilsh.

I speak some French from when I learnt it at school a few years in school. But I haven't said any in ages. I was never any good at it in school.

English, of course. Little Polish and a little German.

I speak English fluently, and am currently learning French in school... I'm not very good at it, though.

Apart from English, of course, I can speak Spanish. :]

I can speak pretty well, although I'd probably say I write/read it better. I took two years of it, but I'd really like to further that.

I speak english, chinese, and a little japanese.

My best language is English, of course. My favorite, too. Not just because it's easy, but it requires a lot of diction and doesn't sound too sloppy unless you're talking to a doofus. I also think it looks really neat and uniform in print. One of my favorite aspects is the word "it." It's so hard to remember which nouns are feminine or masculine in French.

-which is what I'm taking at school. I'm in all the honors English, lit, and writing classes, but I'm struggling horribly with French. But yeah, I've been taking it for about seven months and know a bit.

- Tagalog
My parents are both Filipino so yeah....
- English
Well duh...
- Japanese
It's just plain awesome to learn!
- Spanish
Learned completely out of boredom.

I'm fluent in English, Swedish and Finnish and I know enough French and German to have a short conversation and I'm constantly learning more although my French pronunciation could be much better. German is easy for me since it has a lot in common with Swedish and I've spoken Swedish all my life. (although I still make a lot of mistakes in it since Finnish is my mother tongue and I've always been more interested in English than Swedish so I tend to mix up Swedish grammar with English grammar which isn't a pretty sight. =P) I also understand German fairly well although my vocabulary is very lacking. I usually understand enough words to understand what's going on, but just barely. In French, however, everything has to be seriously dumbed down for me to understand what the heck is happening. Saying things like "Champignon de Paris avec crème au beurre et un pamplemousse rouge" to unsuspecting people is fun, though. :3

Well, I speak:

Spanish (Me llamo Erick, ¿cómo estás?)
English (My name is Erick, how are you?)
French (Je m'appelle Erick, comment ca va?)
An a little japanese (watashi wa Erick desu, genki desu ka?)

:P

See you
