How are exams coming along?

They haven't started yet you dope!!!! No but really it's horrible I'm so bored of my subject and just wish it would be over already. XD

Since you are in your third term as a moderator, do you enjoy it more as a PT mod or as a PoC mod?

It's hard to say - PoC was more fun in the respect that I got to do a lot more as PoC mod, people needed help more, I could help with things like CSS, and running a club was always fun, but PT has such a fun and constantly evolving community that it's my favourite section by far right now. Everything's so laid back and chatty in PT right now with the regulars all getting on amazingly and new faces showing up every day (including our cuddly Castform!), and the section is so incredibly active at the moment that there's still a heap of stuff that needs doing every day, so I think PT probably wins right now haha. It's been so cool seeing PT's activity grow and explode so much over the past couple months and I'm really excited to see where it goes from here!

Are you into any TV shows?

I just fished the whole 8 seasons of House in the space of about a month so now that that's over I'm looking for something new to watch - any suggestions?? I'm thinking of Once Upon a Time since it has one of my favourite actresses in it but I'm not sure yet, the concept is... strange :p

Which Pokemon type is your least favorite and why?

Definitely Fire - it's such a boring and over-used type where everything is meant to be so strong and impressive but just ends up being really uninteresting and unappealing haha.

What is uni like? Would you say, had you the opportunity, that an apprenticeship would have been better?

It's hard to say honestly, it's a very mixed bag. Uni's given me some of the most interesting topics to learn about that I could imagine and it's really enriched my knowledge/life in a lot of ways, I feel much better equipped for life and like I've got a great working knowledge of Chemistry right now, but at the same time I've not experienced the alternative so it's really hard to tell. My brother went straight into work and he's doing absolutely fine, very intelligent and pretty successful, whereas I've just accumulated a load of debt for the same amount of knowledge but with none of the success. So... it's hard to say, I wouldn't say I regret going but at the same time I'm finding it really boring and stressful right now so I do sometimes wonder if life would have been better without going heh.

What is your monetary situation like on average?

Bad! I'm currently £1,100 overdrawn if that gives any indication. :D

Weymouth! It's a family holiday spot for us and I've a lot of great memories there. It's such a fun and high-spirited place with really friendly people and interesting shops/restaurants all around - not to mention the amazing huuuge arcade that I could spent days in ♥

How healthy are you, being on a budget I presume?

I'd say pretty healthy honestly, we cook all of our meals from scratch and food money is never really an issue (ignoring the over-drawn part, that's mostly from other things) so I think I'm ok in that department. I went through some quite major health scares a year or so ago and not entirely over them, but I'm mostly healthy. :D

How many games a week do you play on League?

Recently not a lot, maybe 1 or 2 a day for first win due to how time is being taken up by study etc, but usually I'd play anywhere from 3 to 10+ games if I get my way and I'm not busy paha.

What tier in Gold are you?

Only V - once I got into gold I basically stopped doing ranked to focus on more important things, I'd been spamming the hell out of league just to get to that rank so after I achieved it I kinda lost interest for a while and never really picked the ranked side of it back up haha.

OPINION ON URF???

IT'S SO COOL BUT PEOPLE ARE JERKS. It's a really fun game mode but it's so hard to play in a fun way when people keep spamming the most OP things they can regardless of whether they know how to play/enjoy the champ they're on. Can't tell you how many people are suddenly Evelynn mains during these last two weeks XD

Tristana and Quinn in ranked (I specify because they're the only ones I can check for sure!), and in normal I can remember getting one on full AP Sej, Quinn, Twitch, Brand, Yorick, Urgot, Shyvanna, Varus and Garen... I can't remember any more but there are probably a few I'm forgetting haha.

It's tea-riffic! Ahahahahahhahahahahahahah. I kinda like it but don't drink it much!

What's your favourite out of the three sciences and why?

Chemistry duh! I like how you can use it to understand anything about the world. Biology is cool from the whole "wow life is amazing" point of view and physics is... well, physics is just boring and all theory, but chemistry is a nice middle ground between the real-world applications and the theories behind them that let you understand how the world works. It definitely isn't the most interesting of subjects at times but in the grand scheme I really do love chemistry as a whole, I don't regret choosing it for my Masters haha.

What are some of your fears?

Wasps and scary twisted faces are my biggest fears! Also the idea of Slenderman is scary...

How different would your life be if you had never joined PC?

I wouldn't have met my boyfriend who I'm living with, I wouldn't have discovered LoL which I sink all my time into, I wouldn't have any of the amazing friends I've made now... so life would be a heck of a lot different! But on the other hand I'd have spent more time doing work and I might have actually had a hope of passing these exams so who knows ;)

Additionally, how different would it be if your real life friends were your online friends and vice versa?

The heck kind of question is that I don't know!! I'd bug you to go buy lunch with me every day and spend all my time locked up in a room playing LoL with Olli whilst ignoring my housemates online just as much as I do irl now. :D

Pretty much the same - if all goes according to plan I'll be in the final year of my PhD then so I don't think much will have changed from now!

Hmm... I can't say much about PC outside of a few general areas that I was involved in, but I'd say it was pretty much the same honestly! PC's site/design has been changing up a fair bit over the years but the general atmosphere has remained pretty constant haha. As Sylphiel defines it on Skype; "[17:38:45] Jess: well, it was uh [17:38:50] Jess: it was like pokecommunity". Sorry if that's a pretty rubbish answer but PC really wasn't ever that different, at least not in the time I've spent here XD For me personally I spent all of my time in Pokémon Clubs for my first year or two of PC which was a very different atmosphere to the rest of the forum, but I'm not sure that really counts!

I haven't played in a month or two so I'm a little out of date but just before I stopped playing they brought out all the Guild Wars stuff with the cute new Penguin Knight monsters - I loooove them ♥ My strongest monster is a 5* awakened Wind Living Armor or maybe a 5* awakened Light Reaper (not managed 6* yet </3) but my favourite is without doubt the new Penguin Knights. I was trying sooo hard to get one and finally managed when the secret dungeon event came out for them, that was such a good day of dungeon spamming :D

She makes cold look... hot! (In all seriousness I don't like Liss, her playstyle is pretty boring and very one-note and her damage/mana just don't make her very appealing to me haha. I get why people would enjoy her but she's not my style of champ!)

Physical and inorganic are both good! I'm most interested in things like nanostructured chemistry so that's largely based in physical chem, so I'll go with that :D
