5th Gen Who thinks gen V is the best generation as far as post game?

    I think that the Gen V games have the most things to do post game. Especially for those who had a Nintendo wi-fi connection. What do y'all think?

    I do think you are actually right, I feel like that even the first games of the generation (aka Black & White) still had more postgame content than other first games of a generation, with the daily swarms, Black City/White Forest and Elite Four rematch, and also Cynthia being battled. Black 2 & White 2 kept all that, but with Black Tower/White Treehollow, Join Avenue, PWT and the Curtis/Yancy sidequest there's even more to keep you entertained.

    I feel like the closest games we ever had to rival B2/W2's level of postgame content was HG/SS, with Platinum and even OR/AS close behind.

    I have to second (or third? xD) the notion that it has the best post-game content, for me at least, thus far. The only thing that could top Gen V's post-game content is a remake of the Battle Frontier - which clearly did not happen when we all were waiting for it, so >_>;

    I still think HG/SS were the best in terms of post game but gen 5 is a close second! They really had a ton of content and I was especially a fan of White Forest.

    Which White Forest? {XD}

    The one with non-Unova native Pokémon or Tree Hollow (or whatever is it called. *glared by Nichole*)?

    Maybe he means White Treehollow, since the original White Forest required you linking up with other players a lot if you wanted the good Pokemon.

    I could never understand the white forest concept. I was kind of expecting it to be like Animal Crossing (because you know... I'm a geek lol) but it wasn't.

    I felt like the original Black City and White Forest relied too much on linking up with other players, and if you go too long without linking it gets so empty. That's what's now happened to Black City on my Black.

    There's G/S/C and HG/SS too so I really don't think it has the strongest post-game. :[

    I think you're right if you count traveling to Kanto, getting all the badges there, defeating Red, etc. as post-game. I've always thought of that as part of the main game, but since it comes after you've defeated the Elite Four, I believe it would actually be properly considered post-game :3

    I think Gen V definitely gets second place though, because there's a ton of stuff to do in those games after you've defeated the E4. I've had so much fun in BW2 challenging the PWT. It's also chock full of legendaries to catch. Feels like I'm never done doing stuff in that game haha.

    Mmnnn...as good as the PWT is in B/W2, I find Platinum's Battle Frontier a better post-game. In the original B/W, I never saw use of Black City/White Forest, either, so I didn't have much fun post-game wise in B/W.

    Would put Gen II "post-game" here, but as you can see by the quotation marks, I don't know whether the Kanto sections count as post-game or not.

    Even though BW's post-game isn't quite as standout as third versions and that of B2W2, it was neat that they at least had some elements of story in that aspect of the game, what with going after the sages. Although I never really did anything with Black City/White Forest in BW, the environments in northeastern Unova I did come to really like.

    And if you know me you'll know what I think of B2W2 with post-game, so I don't need to go on about that. :P

    I don't remember playing Black and White much after I beat the Elite Four, really. I played B2W2 a bit post E4 because that offered a lot more content with the Join Avenue and such, but the original BW didn't really offer much.

    I loved the post-game in D/P the most, so far.
    Platinum is a close second; they've changed some details that made it so I couldn't enjoy it the same as I did in Diamond.

    I do admit that Black & White actually had quite decent postgame for what was the first game of a generation, but Black 2 & White 2's postgame is enough to keep you wanting more, and 5th Gen wouldn't have been as fun without it.
