Would you rather live and earn min wage in u.s. for 12 hours per day or would you leave planet earth forever and never have to work again?

which 1 would you choose... let say the alien government invite you to live on their planets where you don't have to work EVER but you can not come back to earth EVER again or you live in united states, make min wage for 12 hours per day and you have to share apartment with people.

If I'm working a really cool min wage job that I loved doing, than sure I'd stay on earth. Living with other people isnt really a problem either haha.

It would depend on the alien society.

BYE EARTH ^.^ hahah i would miss my family but well this would be the opportunity of a life time XD

When I'm not working I'm bored out of my mind.

But minimum wage is a ***** to live off of, and 12 hour work days take a lot out of me. I wouldn't be able to do that my whole life, every day.

Crash their mothership and watch the world burn; two problems solved at once.

But seriously, there's not enough information given. Who says that you can live a happy life on their planet? What if they try to experiment on you, while you don't have a chance to escape, because you're stuck on their planet? Not having to work just sounds too good to be true, there has to be something else going on.

Considering my fiancé is on his way to making double the minimum wage and I've already done the 12+ shifts in the past, it would be a pretty healthy addition to our combined income, plus that would mean overtime, even double time if it's seven days a week.

I actually enjoy working, anyway. As long as the shifts don't conflict and there is always one of us home at any given time, I'd do it without hesitation.

Edit: Also, it was never specified which people I would be living with, so I can easily say it's just me, my daughter, and my fiancé in an apartment together. If it has to be outside of that, then my best friend, her kid, and her husband. There are 4 bedroom apartments here and they are actually quite nice and pretty affordable.

I make money mixing and mastering music out of pocket or paypal so working min wage wouldn't apply to me.

I make $11.50 work 3 days and make $300 but I usually match that with music.

It depends. If I could have whatever job I wanted, then that might not be too bad, especially if non-salaried forms of income were still permissible. My main concern with the scenario is being able to maintain a decent lifestyle, which would be difficult with a minimum wage job long-term. The hours don't sound too bad--I expect I'll be working at least that much for at least part of my career anyway--but if there's going to be very little incentive to work, besides subsistence, I'd only be willing to go for it if I loved my job. I must say, though, I don't like the idea of having to share my apartment with people, especially if it's random people.

My decision would also depend on what the aliens were like, and what my life would be like on their planet. As others have said, I would need more information.

Pro: no work. Ever. Con: I might get probed or used for some sort of alien experiment, which includes but is not limited to breeding, feeding, or being dissected like a box of frogs in Biology class. Hey, working at GameStop for the rest of my life doesn't seem so bad.

Well, I'd go NUTS if I had nothing to do

    Sorry, alien race
    I'ma stay on Earth
Plus, I can make the best of things, right?

Even though I'm disabled it'll be awesome to work in the United States under minimum wage, but since I am I'm living on Earth. If I chose a different planet to live on it'll be Neptune or Mercury and I'll become a farmer, if it was possible.
