Your favorite Elite Four in the games?

In terms of music it will always be Hoenn's. However, for diversity it has to be Sinnoh's. Specifically Platinum. We've had psychic before as an elite four type (in fact this isn't the last time that's the case) but you're telling me we have fire, bug, and ground as elite four types? Usually those are reserved for gyms but it was cool to see the elite four spin on them. Aaron has a cool bug team. Bertha has a decent diverse team of ground types using both water and rock. Lucian's psychic team also had pretty good coverage and remember his Medicham giving me trouble in Diamond. Also Platinum gave Flint a real fire team and not just 3 non-fire mons with fire type moves.

Unova's E4 is a personal favorite of mine.
The rock-paper-scissors specialties of Fighting, Dark, Ghost, and Psychic are such a unique E4 design, not to mention that this is the first League you can face them in any order.
And, as a plus, their battle music goes incredibly intense and befits trainers of their caliber.

I'll judge mostly by gameplay/design reasons:

-The Blueberry Elite Four would be my favorite because it's very well made, I just don't like that you don't fight them in a row like all the other E4s, which ruins the momentum.
-BDSP Sinnoh has a very competent E4 with great strats, but the level curve is stupid (10 level difference between Aaron's lowest and Lucian's highest)
-ORAS Hoenn is decent, but again F the level curve.
-Paldea's E4 is a bit underwhelming, but finally a reasonable level curve.
-Alola's works fairly well I guess, and makes good use of its regional gimmick. No major complaints.
-Galar doesn't have one :P
-Kalos and Unova automatically lost my respect for only having four Pokémon (except BW2 in Challenge mode).
-And Kanto/Johto (Johto especially) are just sad. Half their teams and movesets are a bad joke.

I'm going to go with Unova here. Unova has a reasonable level curve, unlike the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh E4, and it has good rematch teams in BW1 and BW2. Its type selections are also an interesting combination, even if the initial teams are lackluster in BW1 and BW2 non-Challenge mode prior to rematches. However, Marshal's team, and to a lesser extent Caitlin's team, are kind of lackluster compared to the other two.

In theory, I like USUM Alola's E4 more, but I haven't actually played Alola yet so I can't rate them, since I'm not sure how they actually function as characters rather than just abstract teams.

My problem is, there isn't an Elite Four where I'm universally a fan of all four of its members. For example, I'm a fan of Lorelei and Lance from Gen 1, but not so much Bruno and Agatha. Similarly, I prefer Glacia and Drake from Gen 3, Lucian from Gen 4, and Caitlin and Shauntal from Gen 5. So yeah, I can easily pick and choose individual Elite Four members across gens as my favorites, but picking a favorite group of them is much harder for me.

Gens 5 and 6 win as far as the atmosphere of the rooms where you battle them, however. They also put all four of them at equal levels with each other and allowed you to battle them in any order you want, which made much more sense than the previous Elite Fours where you had to battle them in a set order and each one had increasing levels.

Alola's Elite Four on music bias. Favors the Elite Fours with a non-set order (Unova, Kalos, Alola) for having much better level curves and also generally good teams.

Wishes for more interesting rooms in Alola's Elite Four without being as flashy as Kalos's. Who wants to be in a room with a huge column of fire singeing the side of your face? Ideally faces them on a terrain befitting the type, similar to Bertha in Platinum or Koga in Johto.

Hmm.... BDSP's E4 put up a more decent fight than the average E4... but I think I'd go with Hoenn simply due to liking the E4 members and the Pokemon on their teams more.
The BB E4 was also kinda nice for being double battles, but at the same time didn't really feel like an E4 to me.

100% BDSP's Elite 4. BDSP had an opportunity to really beef these guys up and they did a great job with it. Armed to the teeth with good IVs, great EV spreads and competitive movesets, they really pack a punch and as a result a nice challenge for returning Trainers!

With regards to the level curves - I think this only really applies when jumping from E4 to Cynthia to be honest. The EXP from the fights will help bridge the gap a bit between each fight, but Cynthia carrying a 6th member and full EVs is the bigger and much scarier jump.

It's felt great battling them throughout all the rematches though, and I love that we have another tier of rematches featuring I believe the highest level Trainer Pokémon (tied with Red's Pikachu)?

Oh and the music is great too <3.
