    For me, it's the battle theme for Ho-Oh in HG/SS. Rarely have I heard something this fast paced in a Pokémon game and I'm all for fast pacing. A bit short but still very enjoyable.

     
    Hey Archer, I'm just going to move this over to Pokemon Gaming Central since this topic just deals with the games, and not Pokemon as a whole.

    Personally, my favorite has always been the weather trio's theme in R/S/E (and I'd say it's probably in my top 3 in-game themes overall). The intro of it really showcases that the intensity of the encounter, and it always gets me pumped for the ensuing battle.

    Giratina's theme from Platinum. It just perfectly fits both the Distortion World and Giratina itself, and is the theme of a dangerous, mysterious Pokemon that was banished for its crimes. This is probably the best of the reasons as to why I love Platinum so much. Such an amazing theme.

    Honourable mention to Xerneas/Yveltal's theme and Ho-Oh's theme. They're good, but not quite my favourite. xp
     
    Of all of them, my absolute favorite is Xerneas/Yveltal's battle theme from X and Y. Words cannot describe its epicness.

    But other than that, Black Kyurem/White Kyurem, since that track sounds so dire and chaotic with an urge to get you to take it on. Too bad it's wasted on such a short fight.
     
    I'm very fond of Regi theme from Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, personally; it's very up-lift, and every time I listen, it never ceases to hype me. In my opinion, this music is what made battling those Regi trio so much fun; if it weren't for that, I wouldn't have put this much effort into capturing them in Emerald. Rather, I would've simply quit.

    Alongside, another of my favorites would be Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza theme. Like above, it's very hyping. It does start slow, but picks up the pace throughout middle.
     
    Ah there are so many good ones, but for me it is a tie between Giratina's Theme (Platinum) and Xerneas / Yveltal's theme.
     
    I truly enjoy the theme of Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde. It just sounds so dynamic. Honorable mentions go to Ho-Oh, Dialga/Palkia/Giratina, Deoxys and Arceus.
     
    The only one I can really think of right now from the main series games is the Dialga / Palkia battle theme music. :] If spinoffs count, I really do love the Mystery Dungeon music for Dialga as well. What a coincidence that the two themes I can think of are both for Dialga!
     
    Dialga and Palkia in D/P! I fell in love with the theme when I first heard it, it captures a mysterious yet intimidating vibe. :)
     
    My favourite music is actually from the Lake Trio in Sinnoh :) It's just more catchy/memorable to me and I really like it :)
