i'm pretty sure mine was in johto :3 *heartgold*
 
uhhhhhhhhhhh this is kind of a hard question to answer because I technically first played Silver version so you can say my journey started in Johto... but Ruby is the first game I've owned, so it's also Hoenn, as well? I suppose for the sake of simplicity I'm just going to say Hoenn, haha.
 
First game, pokemon red, I was about 5 years old at the time, I had watched my brother/someone who I mistakened for my brother play pokemon yellow and fell in love though. Pikachu was so cute, I remember seeing him with a fish bucket over his head and wanted to play, the gameboy in question was pink, or...well, it could be my memories of my gba being pink mixing with that memory, wouldn't surprise me.
 
Kanto, LeafGreen

I remember my team being Blastoise, Pidgeot, Articuno, Zapdos, and Mewtwo. No idea what the 6th team member was. It was not Moltres. May have been Raikou.

Mewtwo was my first Level 100. Blastoise was eventually a level 100 who still knew Bubble.
 
so my first game was yellow, but my stupid ass ain't even make it past brock and then lost my copy of the game.

my first adventure i got to see from start to end was sapphire and i love that game alright i got an english copy, a french, and a japanese. i also have A Problem clearly lmfao. so even though it wasn't my first game, it's the first region i completed the adventure in so that's where my vote is going.
