ZUD plugin - Z-moves, Ultra-Burst, Dynamax, Dynamax adventures [v18]

It's supposed to be using normal moves, though. There's nothing to edit, those are just...the moves Caterpie learns.

What? Dynamax Caterpie Should Use Max Move because it is dynamax But It is Using Normal Moves. How you are saying it is fine.

And How Dynamax Adventures are working can you tell when it gonna release because i m a big fan of it.

Have you played SwSh? That's how Wild Encounters against Dynamax mons work. They use regular moves sometimes. ^^

Oh yes I forgot. I have many scripts installed in my game so I think it's issue of these script but I remember few mins ago that Sometime dmax Pokemon use regular moves.
 
I add a new Z-move into my game.And I meet with a problem that my new Z-Crystal is in key item bag,while the default ones are in normal item bag.
How can I solve it?

How does the line in the items.txt file look?

The number after the name should be 8, and the last three numbers should be 5,0,14,

@YashPokeFan123 : When you run a Dynamax Adventure, it's not Dynamax Caterpie, it's a MAX RAID BOSS Caterpie. Bosses work differently.
I mean, Dynamax Caterpie's don't cancel stat increases or have a shield, and you don't complain about that.

Stop asking when anything will be released! We don't know.
 
Yep...I just did like this 8,0 and 5,0,14.
Just a copy of default Z-Crystal,I only changed the name,but it showed up in key item bag.It was strange and it was why I asked for help.

Wait...Z-Crystals are SUPPOSED to be Key Items, though. So what's the problem?

Ok. All Z-Crystals are supposed to be in the Key Items pocket though, so if they aren't that's a problem. Are they all located in the correct bag after a restart?

I got same error to its problem of Modular Pause Menu. no ZUD error. I also want to fix. By this I m thinking of not adding Safari Zone.

Find the occurrences of SAFARISTEPS and replace them with SAFARI_STEPS.
This is because you probably used Modular Menu for v17.2.
And yeah, the devs are annoying to change the names of constants and such between versions.

hi stcooler still this error there is no SAFARISTEPS ocurence in the scripts. but error shows it . i have fix it replace all SAFARI_STEPS with SAFARISTEPS so that it become a defined constant. it works one more thing when I catch a pokemon or left a battle in safari zone player moves by 1 step why how to fix it

Ok, so I checked the Modular Pause Menu plugin.
In fact, it does use the SAFARISTEPS constant, but it's hidden in the file Data/Plugins/MODMN.rxdata. This file contains one script. I suggest you revert your changes, as it is bad practice to modify the whole project just to match an outdated version of a plugin, because it will endanger compatibility with future scripts, so I propose you do this instead:
  1. Rename your file Scripts.rxdata to Scripts_TEMP.rxdata.
  2. Rename your file MODMN.rxdata to MODMN_OLD.rxdata.
  3. Copy your file MODMN_OLD.rxdata to your Data folder (the folder where Scripts_TEMP.rxdata is).
  4. Rename the file MODMN_OLD (the one in the Data folder, not in the Plugins folder) to Scripts.rxdata.
  5. Open RPG Maker, open the script editor. If you did everything right, you will see only one script called Modular Menu.
  6. In this script, replace SAFARISTEPS with SAFARI_STEPS.
  7. Now, save your project, and close RPG Maker.
  8. Rename the current Scripts.rxdata to MODMN.rxdata, and put it back in the Plugins folder.
  9. Rename your old file Scripts_TEMP.rxdata to Scripts.rxdata

The SAFARISTEPS bug should be solved now.

As for your other problem, I think you should make a topic in the Pokémon Essentials forum.

PS: It is also bad practice to modify a plugin that's not yours, but eh, we're fangame-devs.
