I don't mind it, especially if it suits the mood, but I do like a little variety and uniqueness to my music too.

    I remember this funny song:

    godney fans unite

After listening to the Dream Theater link, I have to admit I like this band. Not something I'd listen to very often, but good regardless.

Doesn't anyone listen to hardcore techno? :c
    Yo. o/

I often have a hard time finding any single genre that I can call my favorite since a lot of my favorite songs tend to mix and match. Though, cuddlecore is pretty rad.

My favorite genre of music would be rock. My parents like rock, although they're fans of the 80's hair bands.

same! although, I'm a fan of 80's hairbands too. mainly motley crue though :) but my favorite bands are aerosmith, guns n' roses, motley crue, explosions in the sky, and rilo kiley.

I can listen to anything as long as I can hear the singer. so no death metal for me D: I also like instrumental and orchestras as well~

    ^^I LOVE THAT SONG. ^_^

I only listen to metal whenever I need some noise in my room. I can't stand complete silence.

I don't mind death metal. The furious headbanging metal and the screaming I can barely understand is a great stress reliever, just like most of the heavier genres of metal. :D /yeah I'm weird like that. Spheal with it.

    Daily Chit-Chat -- Winter and/or Summer Edition

I hate death metal myself. Constant screaming gives me much more stress than it relieves.

Amen sister. Have you listened to One of a Kind in the Bayonetta soundtrack? The choir is amazing!

I haven't, but once I finish this post i'll be looking it up on youtube :D

Ahaha, I'm the same way, Kelsey. Death metal gives me a massive headache. ._o

Orchestras are pretty cool - I haven't ever taken a ton of time to listen to them myself. I do really like instrumental music when I hear it, though. One thing that comes to mind is the song "Firebird Suite" in Fantasia 2000. Omg I just adore ittttttttttt. *spins and melts*

gah it's all my brother listens to :| so whenever he's in the car with me he has to play it.

I know, it's kinda hard to dive right into that genre because there's so much! but I like video game orchestras/instrumentals and one of the bands I like: explosions in the sky is purely instrumental and I love their stuff :) haha fantasia has so many pretty songs.

as for metal, I can listen to some so long as it's not SCREAMING. EVERY. WORD. because some metal is pretty good, just not all of it ;(

Ehh, Maynard's bowtie just makes this picture all sorts of epic.
I want his bowtie to spin. Just once.

    Ugh don't remind me. It's a tragedy.

It's worth mentioning again, if only because it's that crappy. I can only say I've seen worse in one video, and I linked to Tawher a page ago, who takes the cake for being horrible in music in general.
