I still need to play Rorona Plus on my Vita...I bought it at launch, played it for about five minutes, and I haven't picked it up since. I'm still going to wind up getting it on the 3DS, though...for the THIRD time now.
I bought it on sale 3 days ago, I first wanted to buy PS3 version since Atelier series is connected to PS3 for me but I want to buy Ayesha and Escha and Logy Plus, so... I decided to go for Plus versions on Vita =D
Still, PS3 Rorona was pretty easy and Plus is supposed to be easier... I guess I will finish that in few days =D

idk, in my mind crash 2 is one of the best platformers out there.
It's one of my favourites purely out of nostalgia. I get frustrated by some of its design choices and faults but god dammit it I'm doing it for my child self.

I only went with the Vita version because I'd played Totori and Meruru Plus before that, so I want a trio of Vita platinums...which I still need to complete; so many Vita games have come out this year ._.

I found the original Rorona to be horribly glitchy...I didn't do too well with managing literally EVERYONE when it came to events and requests, either. But if I can micro-manage Totori's endings and events, I'm pretty sure I can handle Rorona Plus :3

Did you get the news about Shallie? March next year, as expected. I'll try and finish it before FF Type-0 HD swallows my free time. xD;

Dynasty Warriors games are also pretty simple; easy to learn and fun to pick up and play in short bursts, and there are plenty of them to pick from - if the bland design of the main games doesn't appeal to you, there are One Piece, Zelda and Gundam spinoffs you could try.
I dunno...it seems that Koei sees DW as its prize jewel (and with good reason). In terms of design and development, I've found that Dynasty Warriors has always been leaps and bounds ahead of the spin-offs, often being far more fleshed out and generally better quality (I've yet to play Hyrule Warriors however, so I can't say 100% on that, but I have a good feeling that I know its ins and outs from my experience with the Warriors series). Though the games will always get points from fans of the respective series, so it's not too much of a gamble jumping into them.

If I were really to suggest a break from the standard fare, I'd recommend Dynasty Warriors Empires, easily my favorite of the Warriors spin-offs (and it even has my heart over the main games). Being able to create a character, build a kingdom, and generally live, delegate, and generally explore the world that is warring states China from a personal perspective is a blast. Heck, the Empires line even has its own dedicated fandom, and it manages to have the most changes per any iteration of any of the DW games (which, regarding those, still have a good number of changes and additions per each numbered titles, especially when compared to many modern sequels).

Wasn't Battletoads like really terrible though? Dunno if a revival would be a good idea. Besides, trademarking the name doesn't necessarily mean they're gonna make a game. Nintendo or Game Freak (don't remember which one of them did it) recently trademarked the name "Delta Emerald". And making an Emerald remake at this point in time seems INCREDIBLY unlikely (and kinda stupid, if you ask me).

Not saying that Microsoft rebooting Battletoads isn't gonna happen for sure, just that we should wait for running around screaming "ZOMG BATTLETOADS REMAKE CONFIRMED GAIZ!!!!!!!!".

Is was more over just incredibly difficult; it's listed as one of the hardest games every to complete (if you can, you know, get past the speed bike level and the fact that you can kill your partner.) It holds a special place in video game history to say the least...whether or not they make a remake of it and more over if it's actually good, that's up for debate.

I had Battletoads and Double Dragon or whatever the weird mashup game was called. It was pretty fun but very hard. I'd be up for new Battletoads as long as they don't eff it up.

Anybody try Double Dragon Neon? The only ones I've played were Super Double Dragon for the SNES and Double Dragon II for the Game Boy.

Phil Spencer sent out a tweet the other day saying that he just finished his visit to Rare and played their new game; considering Rare published Battletoads back when and the fact that the trademark was leaked, it seems highly likely that a new Battletoads will be a real thing. Let's just hope they don't do to Battletoads like they did with Banjo Kazooie and Nuts N' Bolts *fingers crossed*

I've seen Let's Players play it and it seems alright. I find their movements a little nauseating to the site, but otherwise the gameplay looks like classic Double Dragon.

A lot of video games do actually improve your hand-eye. It's kind of an interesting thing because most people consider gaming mindless, but I think it works similarly to brain teasers to an extent.

I have to agree with this. Definitely helped me with my goal keeping when I played soccer. At least I'd like to say it did lol.

Do you want us to ask about it or.......?
No! Don't ask that's what he wants! You cannot indulge him!

Also, I got Trove from Humble Bundle like a week before it went to public beta. Thanks for that Trion >:l So anyway I have the starter pack at least, so if anyone wants to play with me I don't know anyone with the game.

Hello. I want to ask about PS2 RPG's. Can somebody name me a good couple of them?. Thanks (I already know the FF games so those ones are out)
Radiata Stories and Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. Both by Tri-Ace, same engine, but two vastly different games. Suikoden 3-5 are all solid imo, and then there's Wild Arms 5. If you can deal with a horrid draw distance, I would also suggest the WRPG Summoner, which was made by Voilition back way when. Its like FF12 before FF12, fully automated party, with battles on the OW. The world map has randomized battles, but the dungeons are real time. Its a bit short, but the lore is really deep, and some of the places are interesting.

The sense of speed in MK8 compare to MKW is astounding. Not to mention the graphical oomph, hot damn.
