Apart from waking up multiple times a night, I typically get good sleep. The exception is when I'm working on a program, and I encounter a problem that I can't figure out right away, in which case no sleep for me. :P

I did go through a weird fit of insomnia when I was a young teenager, I had only slept about 2 hours in one week. To this day, I still don't understand what caused that. :/

I wake 6AM for work every day and it always makes me so miserable like. I'd wake up groggy and go on in my head about how I'm going to quit my job, etc.. then when I'm out and get to work I feel much better lol.

Are you getting a full 8 hours of sleep or nah?

I go to bed around 11pm.. can't sleep any earlier, since I already have so little free time and want to enjoy whatever of it I have. but even if I got 8+ I'd still wake up groggy, especially when it's still dark out, I know that from experience =x I'm not meant to be awake so early. Waking up before 9AM has always been hard.

Hahaha trust me, I understand the free time thing (: Do you have caffeine (i.e coffee) anytime in the afternoon, or have any electronics that you screw around with before going to sleep?

Caffeine doesn't do anything for me other than pain relief. I once had a Coke an hour or so before bed and still fell asleep easily and slept soundly.

I did some research awhile back on this cause I struggled with waking up groggy all the time, and it's all centered around melatonin production. Basically you want to avoid caffeine after like 2PM in the afternoon to cleanse your body of it, as well as avoid electronics at least am hour before you go to bed. Both inhibit your production of the hormone. Eating right and exercising also have profound effects - has done wonders for me at the very least

My mother takes melatonin pills but I just prefer a natural sleep

Sometimes if I'm feeling really anxious I'd take benadryl to help make me sleepy but yeah. natural sleep is best sleep <3 In regards to anxiety I've started taking other things, so I largely moved away from the benadryl in general.

    today sucked ass

what happened? =( hope youre ok

oh lord I haven't had soda in years lol. The thought of what it does to your teeth makes me cringe..

Yeahh, you're absolutely right. But man it's so hard to find the energy to exercise consistently nowadays. Even though I have an elliptical in the living room aaaAAA /=

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you tell me once that you have like, dumbbbbbb long commutes too? Cause I'm sure that blows in terms of keeping up energy levels as well /:
Ha, I use electronics IN BED.
