Hoping it snows briefly during the night and not in the day of my flight so travel goes well.

I was aware that it was going to be cold in Ohio, but actually being outside even briefly, the feeling of the cold wind is really something. I've not experienced anything nearly as bad back in the UK for a long time.

Tf are you doing in Ohio lol

On a business trip and this week it's in Ohio. Last week I was in Nashville where the weather was much nicer. I can't believe how much of a difference the weather is between states.

A business trip is one of the (very) few reasons to be in Ohio lol

But yeah the weather changes quite a bit from state to state

It seems good that it doesn't really snow here, after seeing all that talk. Sometimes it would be nice if it did just a little during the Winter, though. :X

So a little story. I used to live in Michigan and I never went to Detroit. Now I hear about it and see images of it and I'm glad I never went

The mods on that other forum are really starting to get more aggressive but thats another story for another day

I think Detroit like any major city is one of those you only go there if you absolutely have to because of it being so crazy and crowded.

So with Net Neutrality's repeal vote going ahead (three male representatives of the FCC voted in favour, as opposed to two women voting against) I think it's scary that we could be seeing the end of this very forum because the only active people on it will be the ones who can afford it.

But there's still the courts... the court has blocked NN repeal attempts before so hopefully they can block it again and not let the greedy corporates win.

If that really happens, can't we just build a new network and let anyone access it for free? There's bound to be enough people with the right equipment scattered around the globe to do this. Sure, it won't be free for the people running it, but I'm sure there are ways to get enough funding to keep it going.

If that does happen, the non-free network will probably die out due to not getting enough funding.
